Dear Journal: / Politics has the air of theater and performance art and very surreal to the domestic audience or observers who are not citizens of the United States looking at and in on the performance and performers, politics is art of the theater of the absurd. / Candidates strut upon the stage and pander to that audience member, there and that one over there changing the script for the du jour moment. Today now in the United States a contest or race is being performed by candidates seeking an office that has been discredited by the current resident of the office of the President of the United States, a Harvard grad (elitist). / Her Royal Clintonette heir apparent of the Democratic Party assumed her nomination was in the bag, so to speak and being married to the former president of the United States (President Billy Zipper) also having been under sniper fire (wow very dangerous too, no snipers to be found) and opposing NAFTA (she was an active advocate), and toting a gun (ala Annie Oakley!) shooting and killing a little duck (maybe a Dick Chaney moment) as well as being a graduate of Yale (elitist) not to mention being a multi millionaire (everyone in America is a millionaire, the Clinton’s are rich big time, two incomes from interesting sources which have yielded big bucks, not all book bucks either) and out of touch being an active member of the Washington elite insiders club (John McCain and Her Royal Clintonette are buddies both deny being Washington insiders, I guess they phone in their work or are derelict and absent…where have they been?). By her own coronation she has claimed that she is the right candidate, the one and only choice of the people. Unwittingly or with full knowledge is the captain of her own swift boat, and has accused Barack Obama of being an elitist, maybe he is (?). One thing for sure Barack Obama is not a woman; it would be so interesting if both candidates where of the same gender, take your pick male or female or the same race, politicians for sure. / Barack Obama speaks too high brow for the average citizen of the United States according to Her Royal Clintonette and John McCain (the average American according to Her Royal Clintonette is too ignorant and are all blue collar stupid “the average American is above average” just my take on that, Joe and Josephine Blue Collar Average et al understand Barack Obama) and Her Royal Clintonette being just your average Yale graduate millionaire who speaks homey Yalie speak, just like the average citizen of the United States of America. Barack Obama is just your average elitist guy (biracial not black or white maybe not average, it is very difficult not to be either white or black no matter what is publicly said, race is still an ugly issue in the United States, where all “men are created equal” non gender specific, just an expression) growing up with a single mother and raised by OMG a female and somehow managed to graduate from Harvard (elitist) and to be running against a female who believes she is the right candidate right now and right here, because she is Hillary. If Her Royal Clintonette was running as Hillary Rodham with the hope and promises that she started out with and had divorced Bill, would she be acting the same part she is playing now saying the most inane things about her Democratic opponent. Women have been and are leaders of countries Margret Thatcher, Golda Meir, Michelle Bachelet Jeria, Angella Merkel and others, tough and focused thinking woman, I am not biased just wondering about Hillary’s real motives the peoples choice or self styled heir apparent and it is owed to Her Royal Clintonette the Presidency of the United States. / Am I suggesting that Barack Obama is the better candidate no, or demeaning Hillary Rodham Clinton no, too many times people or persons vote by gender, race and economic interests and cling to what is familiar or what they feel safe with (a Washington insider slinging mud the old fashion way at an opponent to get that opponent to come down to their level of politics)…it is the human condition and change scares the hell out of most people and some people become bitter disenfranchise and cling to what they feel safe with…yes they do. / Politics as art and visual performance imagery…there are the vagina votes and penis polls all taking a swipe at non issues, a distraction from real issues that need answers and action. Some woman will vote for Hillary because she is a female (and has a vagina) other women will think and say “Anybody but Hillary!” Some think Barack is too uppity (which side black or white?) and an “elitist” speaking too eloquently (how dare he! it just ain’t natural wink wink) and of course there is John McCain a rerun and extension of the George Bush manifestos no matter what John McCain may say now, if elected…a hundred years of twentieth century warfare in the era of the twenty first century which requires sadly to say a new approached to WAR or hopefully PEACE (one can hope for peace with the power to back up peace with the reality of weapons both lethal and non lethal). Research your candidate and vote with intelligence not your vagina or penis, race, religion or fear of change or just “cling” to the dead manifestos of Washington insiders the decider’s but use your brain….this time it really matters (!) and it did matter the last two elections, what a Dada performance it has been from the Bush League Theater of the Performing Arts, a nonfiction play of the absurd. / All the candidates are politicians each one with some questionable ethical skeletons, John McCain the Keating Five with lobbyist pals everywhere, denying the celebration of Martin Luther King Day in his home state, Hillary under sniper fire, Whitewater, a NAFTA advocate and gun toting duck killer, Barack with a pastor who uses outlandish outdated rhetoric, a real estate transaction yet to be fully politically exploited and being an elitist, all are flesh and blood and flawed. I want to hear their solutions not finger pointing to each other about inane middle school hair pulling and pinching, if they were Saints they would be dead….hum…ST. Ronald Reagan of the War Spending Ruining the Economy Republicans….St. Reagan must be turning over in his grave with what has been done to his Republican party, don’t forget he was a former Democrat and not an elitist just and average mediocre movie actor who became president of the United States. / Hubris best served cold with a dash of elitism and above average politicians not having a slapfest and panty knotting hair pulling of straws pinching each other over silly stupid antics of Ivy League covered alma mater graduates with and old grizzled AARP war veteran playing reruns of the last seven years…more like Bush League Dick’n Chaney Karl Roved the boat ashore crapola….well soon one Democrat candidate will be able to say “I survived!” / My journal my rant BFD only weenies would disagree demanding extra mustard on their buns (?)!!!!!! / World hunger is real, lots of people starving not caring about a hoax about a starving art performance of a dog starving, please follow the story to the source….you might be very surprised and chagrined with what you will find out….do your homework on everything before you bleed your heart out. / journal entry

The only way in which the world we live in is improved, is when we as a whole do things in a positive way. That requires that we set aside the differences we have with one another, and work together toward a common good. Wealth spread throughout all levels of society enables more people to buy things that enhance their lives. If wealth is concentrated in too small of a group, the economy has to shrink due to the reduced demand for goods. When the only things most people spend money on are the necessities like food, shelter, and transportation, the economy collapses. When more wealth is placed in the hands of the middle class, due to the shear volume of people in it, the economy is given the chance to grow. If you concentrate large amounts of money into the hands of very few people, there is absolutely no way they can ever spend or invest it in a way that enlarges the economy. As the demand for consumer goods falls, so does the employment rate. It wouldn’t be productive to keep making or selling things to people that can’t afford them. In order to keep people buying, artificial means of buying power are put forth (credit cards). The simple act of extending credit inflates a bubble which requires careful observation and care otherwise the bubble will burst. The people that think the markets should be free running and can police themselves, are as smart as a person that drills a hole int he bottom of his rowboat so he won’t have to bail it. We have had 8 years of that kind of thinking. It has done wonders for us. Deregulation of the banks took away the watchful eye that prevented over inflation of the balloon our economy had become. The main force for deregulation in the Senate, is now running for President. He and his running mate have claimed they will change things. Their idea for change is even less regulation by the government. That is not letting the fox in the hen house, that is taking down the walls of it and cutting holes in the perimeter fence as well. John McCain is very proud of his deregulation record! True change would be the recognition that our economy is driven by a robust middle class that has disposable income. When you increase the amount of money in the hands of lots of people that are more likely to spend it, everyone benefits. Which benefits the country better, a $90,000 car 2 customers can afford, or a $20,000 car 98 customers can afford. If you vote using your head and wallet, the only viable choice is Obama!

My voting experience was very pleasant. I got up early enough to avoid the hideous lines that took over after lunch. I even got a little sticker that said I voted. I was very proud to wear it. The only thing that really got me down was to see how ignorant Americans can be and act after having all this time to ‘get to know’ their candidates. I live in Alabama (that is no excuse be ignorant) but there are still people here that believe that Obama is a Muslim just because of his name. Had they listened even a little bit they would know that his father if from Kenya and his name originated from his fathers side of the family. Because his name isn’t Bob they decided not to give him a chance. I was very disappointed in all the ‘Christians’ that acted like Obama is the anti-Christ. Well Holy Hot Dogs we are going to hell if they haven’t read the part of their bible that explains where the anti-Christ is to come from. If Christians want to walk around like air heads I’m not gonna make them read that part. They’ll have to find out when it happens. As a Christian myself it upset me that the big mouth Christians I know said the world was coming to an end and that America didn’t believe in the Lord because they didn’t pick McCain. How high and mighty can we get people? When did we get the guts to believe that God needs to wait on the American vote before he can decided when he wants to do things. HOW DARE WE How dare we limit a limitless God. Last night I wasn’t very proud to be an American. My sadness had little or nothing to do with who the new prez is. It had to do with the intentional choice of so many Americans to be ignorant and still want an opinion. I was upset with all the people who went to the polls yesterday and voted for a man to run this country just because he is black. I was upset by the people who figured that since McCain had anything to do with the military he had their vote. They let the sob stories of these to men decided their vote. Not the actual words they said or the platforms they stood on. The issues had so little to do with this for far to many people. Politicians are politicians America…that didn’t change! The Bible says ‘There is nothing new under the sun,’ people have been doing crocked things as leaders of nations for thousands of years. People fall in love just as easy as they fall in hate. Most have no real opinion, no real reason for either. They just move and sway with the crowd that surrounds them. To be honest I’m just happy Bush couldn’t run again. Yes Obama becoming prez means a lot to minorities. But Obama becoming prez means a crap ton more than that. Now that the election process is over it has nothing to do with his skin. It has to do with the mind God gave him and how he uses it. / / Oh yes he will bring change. McCain would have brought just as much change. The question is are we going to be able to live with those changes. The answer…we are going to have to…like it or not. I was proud of this one thing… / The massive amount of people that went out to vote. Whatever their reason they went. They stayed and used one of the rights that people have fought and died to give them. I voted yesterday and I’m proud that I did / I’m proud to live in a country where I can turn my head left and see a white man / I can turn my head right and see a black man / I look up the street and see a Latino children / Turn the corner and see an Asian mother / and I can look in the mirror and just see / ME / A strong, opinionated, observant woman who just wants to have a good life. My destiny is not cast at the American polls. It was cast in Heaven when the Lord took the time to make me.

Hi all, President elect Barak Obama won the election with the help of a small expenditure on advertising. Something like 400million dollars. I dont have that kind of money…well any money to be exact so I’m just going to have to hope this small journal effort helps even if only a little. I have drawn out a design I’m very happy with and entered it into the londons calling challenge and im now canvasing for votes! The standard of designs is very high and I would hope that the best design wins but as there is such a variety in style it is hard to pick the best. I just hope you will all be kind enough to pitch in for me. My design is fairly unique in style and content which I hope will be in my favour but who knows. Anyway if you are kind enough to take the time to help me out I would be most greatful. Please go here to vote, my design in number 95 in the list. Thanks in advance :@) Chris Detail: /
