I used tweezers to create the last few folds. The paper I folded with was about 15×15mm big. Basically I present the creator and the creation where the crane is framed by my fingers forming a circle. We can only understand size, fragility and significance when we compare two things. When we think, for example, how big the world is, we’re like tiny little specks of sand, or even atoms, to the eyes of a God holding the earth in his palm. I did not make this crane and take the picture with the description in my mind; but created it by instinct. It wasn’t easy drawing out my words initially. However many viewers have left very inspiring comments about my work, and for that I am grateful. Thank you. Don’t stop at 10… The latest technological breakthrough has made it possible to make a standard volume control ‘one louder’, so go one better. Go to 11. You’re probably listening (at 11) to yourself playing Union Jack Guitar / or if you’re behind the screen then you’ll need a desk / Stay in touch Subscribe to T-Shirt Updates Subscribe to my T-Shirt blog | visit the blog
Old magazine print was found in an op shop (already framed with a faux stressed finish!!) ... old rose, a leftover from my birthday a few months ago … old book, part of my treasured collection. Film grain and a texture added to age the image … I’m looking for the nostalgic feel again (still!) ... In the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains of N.S.W. Australia is this popular spot named the LEURA CASCADES. I captured this & other various photographs after & during a heavy period of rain. The amount of water coming through this area at the time made it near impossible to hear anyone shouting. / Seeing this amount of rainwater at such pace & mass reminded me of how much Mother nature can be beautifull but also how much respect she can command. Well sophia plays with a lot of dissonance. She has the desire to work the keyboard very, very, hard. Seem as though she could “practice” for hours on end. Lots of notes too. Lots of notes. Loud ones I have noticed, are the type that move her the most. Loud and strung together without any seams. Carnegie Hall one day in the future. Lots of loud notes. Real loud. / Well I guess it will have to wait, because we don’t actually have a piano in our home. I feel that its best to let Sophia practice at other people’s homes. You know, to prepare her for the grind of the concert touring circuit. cannonEOS D1 / Mark III / 28-105 / 400 iso / no flash / -1 ex
This is a photo that I took right outside my house in my driveway after a nice spring storm. I loved the feel of the fog and the over-all surrealism of the scene. Any criticism would be much appreciated. This was shot in RAW with a Nikon D80, MB-D80 Vertical Grip, and Nikon 18-55ƒ3.5-5.6. Enjoy.
