The skies of Sydney putting on a show to rival the best of Sydney’s New Year’s Eve fireworks. This photo a couple of weeks after New Year’s Eve.
views: 3424 / favs: 51 Completed 2004 age 18 I was inspired by the Japanese artist Hiroshi Senju, who tends to limit his colors in his paintings. Sometimes he paints an image where the background is the complimentary colors of the subject. His style is simple but at the same time intense, where the foreground stands out from the complimentary background. Medium: Watercolors This is a painting done in my sketchbook. The paper isn’t watercolor paper, but at least more durable than regular printing paper. Tiny dandelion seeds against a colorful paper… Enjoy!
Another experiment with a spring and using a CD as a reflective background. More experimenting to come with these! :D Enjoy!
Canon PowerShot SD1000 A low-level perspective shot, using a stagnant puddle to reflect the evening’s vibrant sunset. Thanks for viewing!
Third in the series… three drops.. nothing too special. I shall explain the crazy set-up for this one… I had the tiny green spring (which was strung with seed beads) resting on a CD with a shiny gift bow as the background. I used a syringe to place the water drops and used my flash as well. Haha, it makes sense to me! Enjoy!

An abandoned pleasure craft up on blocks at St Marks, Florida … hunting around underneath the hull I found some wonderful art work.
