Planning a solo exhibition in Melbourne, Australia – opening night in March. Any thoughts on this artist statement for the show….note: I have never written an artist statement and am pretty nervous about it….? / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / “Angels, Gods and Elements” is a collection of works depicting mythological and fanciful characters. The collection demonstrates my ability to utilise the inspiring qualities of colour and is intended to impact the audience and spark the imagination. I have demonstrated an interest in colour from a young age. Over the years, I have become appreciative of the ability for colour to be vibrant, expressive and evoke emotion. When I work with colour, I am reminded that those chosen for a particular piece must work together to illustrate the story behind the work and capture the attention of the observer. Self-taught, I specialise in oil pastel on craft wood (MDF). Each piece produced is initiated with research and deciding on a story to be illustrated. A piece is considered complete when the character of the illustrated story and their precise nature has been truthfully captured.

She also accompanied three additional faerie queens to Avalon with the body of the slain king. soo excited!!! a challenge of challenges.separated by color, with theme of the group vintage and gorgeous being the goal..oh what fun this was to see the other works!... / and now that i look at them all, and notice mine…i realise one thing tyeing them all together…agent provocateur…yes..the ap of linegrie. vivinne westwood and a member of the sex pistols love child, designs lingerie.. and it is the one thing i have soo much of after my separation, i sold so much of my things, yet even though i sold my shoes hats dresses, etc,( i sold everything of mine to pay for the lawyers and living) even though they all had tags on them, i could not…put lingerie on the internet for sale it wigged me out(selling my under garments on the internet even stateing they were never worn and still had tags…i couldn’t do it!). / now the look of ap lingerie…well it fits vintage to the t…funny…i have 4 years of all 4 seasons of theirs, sitting packed in dressors boxes etc… / and today they showed their use… / life… / funny the circle. / and no the divorce was not because i never wore it! thank you vintage and gorgeous ! this rocks and make me laugh! the one thing i felt embarrassed to sell, works well for what i love.. the beauty in vintage looks and the beauty and confidence to feel gorgeous in it! / “pin me up ” for the win in red..thank you. / thank you / t chappel
