  • A work in reaction to censorship – in the art world (especially in Australia in recent weeks), movies, music and TV. If you don’t like it don’t look at it – give others a choice… I chose a cherub because it is such a widely known image – from classical painting to water fountains. A naked little boy that no-one seems to have a problem with… Having said that I am absolutely against child pornography, child abuse, violent non-consensual porn, and gratuitous sex and violence. • My entry in to Weekend T-Shirt Challenge In the future the corporations will be running the world, instead of governments. For example: the USA maybe renamed “Coca-Cola”, Australia “Burger King”. Thus the corporations will also be at war with each other – like proper physical warfare with real weapons (the Cola Wars we have now are soft in comparison). Perhaps the person depicted here was not towing the party line, works for a rival cola company/country, was a corporate spy, or just showed up to work late… Oh, and it seems people 250 years in the future have lost their genitals too! • My entry for the London Calling challenge. I found this difficult as I’ve never been to London to get a real ‘feel’ for the place, but here’s my two-cents worth: I have given a big nod towards graffiti/street art with the general style of the piece (line work, spray marks and drips) the London skyline gets a look in I couldn’t resist the CCTV camera robot (paranoid android?) with London having over 100 000 cameras throughout the city and finally I’ve included a large rain cloud in reference to the grey, overcast and generally miserable weather. I can’t decide on a colour – according to the challenge we should have one colour option for the shirt – so feel free to let me know what colour you think works best :) Detail: /

  • Enough already…

  • Richie Benaud OBE is apparently retiring from all cricket commentary duties next summer – after 46 years. I decided to make a shirt to commemorate this momentous and sad occasion. The man. The legend. Detail: /

  • For the Viva La Skull challenge Show Us Your Skull It feels like this inside my skull sometimes :)

  • There’s no way out. / Designed for the T-Shirt Revolution anaglyph challenge.

  • This is a reworking of an older shirt design of mine Analogue Goodness. I have tweaked it a bit for the Music Machines Challenge. I had a music robot transformers thingy sketched up but upon further searching realised it’s been done before – to a much better standard. Plus I just got married and with relatives and buck’s nights and friends around I didn’t have much time to expand my idea. So, go the rework I thought. It’s been on the back-burner for months (thanks largely to the awesome MT for the idea). / An essential 80s music machine. Where would we be without it? No playlists. No drag and drop. Just chuck in the cassette and away you go. Make sure you keep a pen handy in case the tape starts to loop and get tangled. / Music machinery at it’s best.
