I was so fascinated by the outcome of this picture which shows in crisp details the yellow center as well as the little “hair” on the petals. A special addition is certainly the very strong color contrast. The picture has not been altered.

Although during most of our stay in Cape Town the weather was cold wet and windy, the day we went up the mountain it was a perfect day with hardly a breath of wind. Being up there is a really amazing experience. / Thanks for looking / Lisa x

I don’t know what type of moss this is or even if it is moss, but I have never come accross moss with this orangey color. This was taken on June 7th, so the color change of Autumn do not apply. A bit odd. Taken in the woods around Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois. Who knows what those folks are experimenting with.
