I thought the Beckham Picture was quite amusing.

A dip into my archives for this one. A couple of years ago we took a holiday to Thailand and Laos, the places we visited in Thailand were very busy for the most part with tourists (including us) being shunted around from tourist attraction to tourist attraction. When we visited Laos in the second part of our holiday it could not have been more of a contrast. This shot is taken from a hotel we stopped in a place called Van Vieng, the scenery was amazing, it was very much like Halong Bay with wonderful worn Limestone Cliffs surrounding us. The shot was taken with my old Nikon 8800 bridge camera which I kind of miss!
A rope swing, a traditional canoe and the natural beauty sums up the draw of Vang Vieng.
