  • 1st Entry for Pulp Noir Challenge 2 – Vice Versa Based off of the character portrayed in Killer Silk, a story by jcmontgomery. This temptress lives her life on the edge. Sex, drugs, fast money…all that Jazz. And don’t try to do her in. She may be a sexy vixen but she’s smart enough to do you in first. Hence the piece in her left hand…

  • Acrylic on 6×9 Painting Board I have never painted before. I mean, of course I did stuff when I was a kid, but I haven’t picked up a brush since. I’m so happy with this piece. It sort of signifies my acceptance with what is to come. Today was the worst day of my art career. I pretty much had the biggest breakdown since I started. But this peice helped me through as did so many of you wonderful members. You guys truely are gems. At some point tonight I’m gonna thank each one that responded to my journals individually. Art = Blood, Sweat and tears it seems. And thanks to you guys and your words I feel as if I’m up for the challenge. So enjoy this. Starlight.

  • “The Darkness comes from within…” When I’m down it feels like this horrible darkness is seeping from my gut and engulfing me. It makes everything harder to deal with and it can even make it hard to see or concentrate on anything. I always wish that someone could help me in those times… One day I sat down and drew that feeling. Mixed media on acidfree paper + Photoshopped onto old paper I worked ‘til I was done.
