The uncompromising brutality resonating throughout the structure of this old dock put me in mind of a row of sunken experimentation cells overlooked by nefarious doctors from their observation booths above… In reality though, I think these are the offices of fish traders with open voids leading to the storage space or bidding floor below.
A shot along the opposite side of the upper floor of the fish docks. To me, it looks even more sinister than the last… Perhaps the cages were used to hold the evil doctor’s subjects securely, until they were ready for surgery and experimentation… Those who were lucky died in the process. Those who were unlucky survived to provide a sick spectacle in the bare white observation cells. Those who were really unlucky were thrown to feed whatever waited below…
