A favorite verse from Psalm. / /
Some images of wonderful, Blessed moments amid God’s Creation. Most times, as I was capturing the images, the accompanying Scripture or Hymns, that I have titled each image with were impressed upon me rather strongly.
God makes winds his messengers. Psalm 104:4 / This is located on my sister’s farm. / /
The pentagram… To the Wiccan, the five points of the pentagram represent Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Spirit. Wiccans usually put the symbol in a circle, which has traditionally represented the endless or eternity. The ancient Chinese believed there were five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water), five planets, five seasons, five senses, as well as five basic colors, sounds and tastes. / -source Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece and Babylonia. / The pentagram has magical associations, and many people who practice Neopagan faiths wear jewelry incorporating the symbol. / Christians once more commonly used the pentagram to represent the five wounds of Jesus, and it also has associations within Freemasonry. The pentagram has long been associated with the planet Venus, and the worship of the goddess Venus, or her equivalent. It is also associated with the Roman word lucifer, which was a term used for Venus as the Morning Star, associated with the bringer of light and knowledge. It is most likely to have originated from the observations of prehistoric astronomers. When viewed from Earth, successive inferior conjunctions of Venus plot a nearly perfect pentagram shape around the zodiac every eight years. Many Neopagans, especially Wiccans, use the pentagram as a symbol of faith similar to the Christian cross or the Jewish Star of David. / It is not, however, a universal symbol for Neopaganism, and is rarely used by Reconstructionists. / Its religious symbolism is commonly explained by reference to the neo-Pythagorean understanding that the five vertices of the pentagram represent the four elements with the addition of Spirit as the uppermost point. / As a representation of the elements, the pentagram is involved in the Wiccan practice of summoning the elemental spirits of the four directions at the beginning of a ritual. The outer circle of the circumscribed pentagram is sometimes interpreted as binding the elements together or bringing them into harmony with each other. The Neopagan pentagram is generally displayed with one point up, partly because of the “inverted” goat’s head pentagram’s association with Satanism; however, within traditional forms of Wicca a pentagram with two points up is associated with the Second Degree Initiation and in this context has no relation to Satanism. Because of a perceived association with Satanism and also because of negative societal attitudes towards Neopagan religions and the “occult”, many United States schools have sought to prevent students from displaying the pentagram on clothing or jewelry. In public schools, such actions by administrators have been determined to be in violation of students’ First Amendment right to free exercise of religion. / -from wikipedia also available / the power of the verse / thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) /

straight up from the camera.. this is capture I took as the water was moving, and the glistening of the sun was captured here. it doesn’t even look real to me.. but it is!.. Caloosahatchee River.. Fort Myers, Florida Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139: 7, 9-10, 23-24)
Life is like a painting… you choose your own colors to make your life visible… which color you’ll pick? The colors of joy, kindness, forgiveness, selflessness or the colors of anger, hatred, lies, hypocrisy, unforgiving attitude…? People will see your painting as you go and one day you have to show the ready work to God. Choose your colors that He would be pleased. Matthew 5:16 / Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

I was approached by a very dear friend who wanted to write a poem about a Midnight Blue Image, and the only picture I have is Midnight Reflections. / The words were in her head but the sky was full of stars,so I took my picture into PS and added stars so that the words would befit the image. / My dear friend wishes to remain anonymous unfortunately, but I think you will agree that she has a genuine creative talent for the written word. / Thankyou…. / Copyright owner Cynthia Adams. This does NOT belong to the public domain. / MIDNIGHT REFLECTIONS A soft velvet sky in the rich blues of the night Sprinkled with stars that sparkle so bright Twilight comes softly signalling the end of the day And the dying sun slips slowly and silently away The dark clouds float by and disappear from view The Leaves on the trees collect the sweet nightly dew and Lakeland waters reflect starlight shining from on high And woodland creatures drift into slumber with barely a sigh Beneath skies of blue in the dark of the night Its time to pause for a rest and sleep until morning light. Dedicated to the a beautiful scene created by my dear friend Cynthia Thanks for adding those wonderful stars, they really inspired me.
4So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. / Luke 2: 4-7 / Photograph of a sculpture in a memorial garden ~ San Diego, CA /
