  • Finally made to Vera Falls. Just checked the map (Note to myself: should have done it before) – End of Vera Falls track – 450 metres below the start of the track at Wentworth Falls! OMG!! On the way up it was definitely – OMG! Hot, cloudless, bright day. Completely wrong light. The falls could be nice after a lot of rain and with a soft afternoon winter light. So really uploading this and may be one of two other photos as a tribute to two pairs of very, very sore legs! And at the end of two hours struggling to find a position from which the falls were at least a little bit photogenic at that direct sunlight, I finally started shooting in mono. Here I actually like the water falling from above looking like heavenly light. Thank you for looking!
