Just an idea I came up with when I was trying to get off to sleep one night. I thought it was quite a cool company name.

The Sea Venture was one of the first ships to arrive in Bermuda. It was thrown accidentally off course by a hurricane and landed on the reefs intact. Its original course was with a fleet from England headed towards / Jamestown, Virginia to aid in the colonization. From being shipwrecked, the crew and passengers of the Sea Venture settled in Bermuda and benefitted from its tropical paradise and set up a small colony. This painting is a Mixed Media piece, combining original digital photography taken in Bermuda by me SBC, with my painting, and drawings. It is intended to capture the natural and surreal beauty of Bermuda through my eyes. This art won an Honorable Mention Award in the Rowayton Art Show in 2006 and First Place in the Darien Art Show in 2007. It is presently being considered for exhibition at the Royal Navy Dockyard Museum in Bermuda. Thank you for your interest, comments and purchases!
At the end of the “River Kwai” train line, Thailand, there is a wonderful cooling waterfall to relax in.
This shot is of a seldom visited valley along the Canaima river in Canaima national park Venezuela. I visited here with Miguel my gude and a few others. He informed me that he thinks that somewhere back in there, there might be a route to the top of the cliffs and from there hopefully a path to Angel falls the tallest water fall in the world. He claimed that no one had ever been back there not even anyone from his village. Since then my imagination has been racing about making a return trip. This is the best place I have ever been in the world because of what it represents. Just a few steps more and figuratively it would be as if you were walking on the moon. Each new step being a virgin step the planets first. It is amazing to think that there are places still left on this earth where man has not ventured. I used to love skateboarding so much. Now school and photography and biking and traveling and just…crap… take up so much of my time. I’d love to get back into it but its been a couple years and I don’t know how much free time I’m gonna have in the coming months. Again, I can’t stress the awesomeness of this film. I love it.
