Location: / St. Margaret’s Bay, Kent, England Map: / Multimap Date and Time: / 16 August 2008, 5.34 a.m. Camera details: / ISO 200 : f/22 : 10 seconds : 18mm : Nikon D40 : Nikon 18-55mm lens Shot narrative: / Sunrise up over the English Channel on one of the most spectacular mornings i’ve witnessed at this location. The sky turned pink for just a minute before the sun rose up over the horizon. Many thanks to Geoff for the inspiration of the title.

The Sage Gateshead and River Tyne. Taken Monday 27th October 08 during a few hours on the Quayside with Michael Oubridge. Photographic based digital montage – Feb, 2008. Created over several hrs…2 nights this week (suffering from concussion) from an accidental fall over the wk’end. Photoshop montage combining digital shots of jewels, scanned samples of vintage style wallpaper and added drawn elements. Fifty layers retouched, blended, filtered, colour & tonal curve adjusted. I’m considering using the design as a furniture (upholstering) velvety/suede fabric for a small round bedroom foot stool.

Oil on Linen, 120cmX 90cm. Portrait of Karen. Was to be a matching piece for Blue Velvet, but the later sold so fast it got postponed till now. Photo is somewhat dodgey taken in crappy light on a rainy day, but hopefully new one asap.

This waterdroplet looks like a diamond or ice in the way the light is hitting it and reflecting off the tiny bubbles inside. I personally love the color of this one.
