We have toadstools growing on the other side of the driveway! Fairy rings one side, houses the other! I’ve left food and other related things in the tags… it must be food for someone! It did have an ant crawling on it. I missed it though (obviously!!).

This is another felt work. The first few felt pieces I made went to new homes in the guise of scarf type objects, before I decided that making pictures out of sheep hair was much more stressful fun. Medium: Felt, digital
Some other onions in the same jar. / Pencildrawing on paper.
This shirt used to come with a saying that was familiar in my family – I’m not as green as I’m cabbage looking., but with time I’ve come to like my cabbage friend without the words. I can’t explain why he’s my favourite cabbage, but maybe it’s because he’s what you’d get if you crossed Oscar the Grouch with a brassica? Also available as a Greeting Card
I wanted to do something for my kitchen wall. / I took these 3 images between rain showers today. Bumped up the green slightly in photoshop. / /
For my friend, who remains stubbornly unaware of his own greatness. / Thanks for the hugs, from your weird little mate =)
Of late my imagination has been captured by Grasses of all sorts. I have found that they are quite difficult subjects to capture but was really pleased with how this pic turned out.
This is a leaf from a beetroot. The sun was shining on it at the right angle to get these great colours.

Imagine being born again. Only this time your mother is the earth and you come fully equipped with memories, knowledge and a belief system. What raw emotions are evoked when the first thing you are confronted with is an environment completely foreign to what you were expecting? / Fear, confusion, doubt and loneliness. / Or because of the new environment one may lose their inhibitions, feel joy or perhaps discover inner strength and courage. Maybe the nine images are a true metaphorical reflection of the artists soul? / His background and love for the stage and theatre. / His longing to find true love and a wanting audience. / The ongoing battle of time and money between industry and creative / fulfilment. Along the stalls of the open market in Newark, Nottinghamshire, I spotted this wonderful contrast of colour. Amongst the fragrant purple onions, this sharp white onion stood proud. What a wonderful natural reminder that we all need to stand out from the background which we can so easily blend into.
