This shirt used to come with a saying that was familiar in my family – I’m not as green as I’m cabbage looking., but with time I’ve come to like my cabbage friend without the words. I can’t explain why he’s my favourite cabbage, but maybe it’s because he’s what you’d get if you crossed Oscar the Grouch with a brassica? Also available as a Greeting Card

This design was inspired by seeing so many mushrooms growing on our property. It has rained for three weeks now, and yesterday I came across a mushroom the size of a large plate (or a sitting stool as our neighbour pointed out). This is my Laurel and Hardy of mushrooms. Just a decorative piece I made from illustrations (pen and ink) of various trees and plants on one of my favourite walks in the Rimutaka forest park. I would have drawn these on-site but its generally veiled in sheets of misty rain, making sketching kind of like drawing on wet toilet paper with a wire brush… Hmmm!! If you’d like a version with text of any sort added, let me know and I’ll make one up for you.
