I was in the middle of the desert testing my newly rebuilt flathead and things couldn’t’ have been better. My old flat head had a new life after the modifications and rebuild. She was up and runnin strong again, like when I first built her. Couldn’t have been a better day. I had probably driven about 20 miles from camp, stopped to take a break and noticed some clouds out in the distance. As I looked closer I there was a good storm brewin’ out there. If it started raining hard I was going to be in trouble. So I got in, stomped on the gas and started “Hurryin Back”! / This story is fiction by the way I just added for mood. This was done in Painter 10 using mostly the impasto brushes. I also made this into a 34” Gilcee and it is a limited edtion of 300. It looks great in the office.

After the fall of the Sanctum Crusaders, an ominous evil came across the land. All hope was lost but there was something that could restore the land, “Faith”. Not just any faith but a faith so powerful it could transform that land to its once spectacular majesty. This faith could not be released until prophecy was fulfilled by the “Savior”. Only a small Order knew of this faith so they sanctioned a very elite group to protect it. They were called “Archmechs The Protectors of the Faith”.
