While travelling in Romania I met a mysterious woman whose wild azure eyes burned right through my skull. She told me of a crazy party at a secret club that was on that night. / It happened once a year and was only known to a select few. I asked where it was so she drew a map on my hand and told me to meet her there at 12am. / I turned up a bit early and the club was shut, quiet as a graveyard on a winters night. / So I went back to my hotel and read a book.
Vampyre The Prince of Darkness / Available as a print, poster and card and also featured on my 2009 Calendar / Homage to the B-Grade Movie artists this is my take on the 1957 movie / “The Vampire’s Prey” or El Vampiro. / / ...and a wonderful poem from The Vampyre by John William Polidori 1816 But first on earth, as Vampyre sent, / Thy corse shall from its tomb be rent; / Then ghastly haunt the native place, / And suck the blood of all thy race; There from thy daughter, sister, wife, / At midnight drain the stream of life; Yet loathe the banquet which perforce / Must feed thy livid living corse, / Thy victims, ere they yet expire, Shall know the demon for their sire; As cursing thee, thou cursing them, / Thy flowers are withered on the stem. But one that for thy crime must fall, / The youngest, best beloved of all, / Shall bless thee with a father’s name—That word shall wrap thy heart in flame! / / Yet thou must end thy task and mark / Her cheek’s last tinge—her eye’s last spark, / And the last glassy glance must view / Which freezes o’er its lifeless blue; Then with unhallowed hand shall tear / The tresses of her yellow hair, / Of which, in life a lock when shorn / Affection’s fondest pledge was worn— / But now is borne away by thee / Memorial of thine agony! Yet with thine own best blood shall drip; / Thy gnashing tooth, and haggard lip; / Then stalking to thy sullen grave, / Go—and with Gouls and Afrits rave, / Till these in horror shrink away From spectre more accursed than they The Vampyre by John William Polidori 1816 Image copyright © 2008 Shanina Conway. / Copying and displaying or redistribution of this image without permission from the artist is strictly prohibited. /
Beware The Light Vampires, beasties and things that go bump in the night …seems I can’t get away from them! How many Vampires does it take to screw in a light bulb…? / None, they prefer the dark… or so legend has it;) Image copyright © 2008 Shanina Conway. / Copying and displaying or redistribution of this image without permission from the artist is strictly prohibited
Just because I love to create a bit of horror occasionally
Future Mrs. Edward Cullen. A twilight wedding, a life lived at night like vampires should. A man who is cold, hard and sparkling. Our blood will mingle and our love will never end. Gorgeous t-shirt has a black heart dripping deep pink blood. Looks fabulous on the black tees or on any color!
Who stole my bats, I ask you, / Who stole my bats? My castle is empty, alone and forlorn, / Who stole my bats? The moon is a shining, the day has succumbed. / Who stole my bats? The clouds threaten darkly, the hour now has come, / Who stole my bats?

A stunning design depicting a dark, tangled forest in deep midnight blues and greens, with a semi concealed red heart. The word EDWARD completes it. Such a beautiful t shirt to celebrate your Edward obsession! The forest could be Forks at twilight or dusk, when the vampires roam. EDWARD! Look at it on the black t shirts, it’s amazing!

Yeah, I’m a Twilight fan… a Guy-lighter, as some would say.
Vampyre .. in the heat of blood she was created .. in the fires of blood will she live
“The weak are the most treacherous of us all. They come to the strong and drain them. They are bottomless. They are insatiable. They are always parched and always bitter. They are everyone’s concern and like vampires they suck our life’s blood.” – Bette Davis 1950 In Watercolour/Ink/Pencil
I Love Vampires. I do. Do you?
