Original is in 2b pencil. Before i drew this i soaked the paper in coffee water to give it a vintage look, thats what the blotches are. And i of course just added sepia from the computer. The holes are where i burned the picture, trying to give it an older look even
Original in 2b pencil. Soaked the paper in coffee for this one, too, before i drew the picture. Added the sepia tonite on the computer.
Original in 2b pencil. Added sepia. From the Vampire series. The guest was shaving in a mirror he had brought with him & the Vampire comes up behind him, & the guest is startled, because the Vampire does not cast a reflection in the mirror so comes upon the guest unseen & unheard, & the guest is so startled & he cuts himself, & begins to bleed, & the Vampire sees the blood and reaches out for him, but burns his fingers on the crucifix around the guest’s neck, the guest is saved by the crucifix which the woman back at the inn had given him before he reached the castle
Original in 2b pencil, sepia added. He’s being kept watched upon while the Vampire sleeps the day away

Original is in 2b pencil, sepia added. This is another series of 5 illustrations, so you’ll have to wait til tomorrow to see why he should not be in that room, especially when he was warned by his host (the Vampire) to stay out

Original in 2b pencil, added sepia. The prisoner writes some letters to his home & entices the Gypsies in the courtyard to post his letter, throwing them some money
Original in 2b pencil, sepia added. The Gypsies give the letters to the Vampire, & he burns them

Original in 2b pencil, sepia added. Tune in tomorrow to see what our brave man will do
Original in 2b pencil, sepia added. i know the hands are a bit too small, hee hee, but i liked the effect. / The prisoner knows his end is near, and he knows the Vampire lies & will not let him leave tomorrow either, so he hatches a plan of his own & will act tomorrow while the Vampire sleeps
Original in 2b pencil, sepia added. The prisoner now realizing what the Vampire has been up to all along, finding a way to travel to England so he can find fresh new victims, tries to kill the Vampire. Does he succeed? We shall see (not in any soon time, however, this is where i left off, so i now need to start drawing new illustrations, & i will try to draw sort of fast, but not too fast, i love details)
Did just today (30 September, 2008). i drew this on paper i soaked in coffee around 10 years ago, to give it an aged vintage look. Hand drawn in No.2 pencil & 2B pencil. This is the second of the train stations the guest is taking to get to Transylvania where the Vampire awaits in his castle (and of course the guest has no clue is host is a Vampire). One more train station, in Buda-Pesth, then the rest of the trip will be by carriage.
For the Vampire Series, but going to re do & have more emphasis on the guest & his fiance. This might be the first photo (still practising making these drawings look like photos, lol), this is the beginning where he is leaving London for his trek to Transylvania to the Vampire’s castle. Trains all the way til he gets to Bistrita where he takes a carriage to Borgo Pass where he meets the Vampire’s coach. / One of the main reasons i have not been on so much (and i do apologize) is i have been doing research for the last 2 weeks or so, though the story is fiction, the railway stations were real, the year is 1890, so i am looking for data and photos, or illustrations of several different railway stations, and scenery. He is leaving from the St. Pancras Railway Station in London, The Midland Hotel is next to the Railway Station where he and his fiance are having a goodbye tea in The Moroccan Coffee House. Then he catches the train to Munich, Via Paris & Stuttgart. Then From Munich to Vienna, on to Budapest, then to Bistrita, where he takes the coach. i’m hoping to do all these in the drawings that look like photographs, because he is taking photos of his trip with his Kodak camera. The photos at that time were circular. i left the paper without the black, such a pretty brown (from coffee staining)
Layering again in PhotoShop. Sort of the same but i put the guest & his finance further out & found a photo of an old time butler
