  • Shirt design for www.vintagewireless.info featuring the illuminated dial of a Krielser brand bakelite radio. / Specially redesigned for black shirts.

  • This is a high res scan of a vintage capacitor label (1940s) from an old bakelite radio. I loved the old style graphics and typography. This is a special version for black shirts. Hope you like it.

  • Now you’re probably wondering why I called it Petrol Cow. Maybe I’m in a quirky mood but it just came to me. In this world its hard to get by without milk and petrol. So this reminded me of a man made cow providing us with petrol. PS: I was at waiting for the lights to change green when i noticed the truck beside me…whipped out my camera and ta da.

  • A couple of valves are on standby, ready to manually operate the sprinker system at an abandoned jet research facility.

  • A firm favourite of mine, i always like taking pics of pipework and valves when in derelict places, and these were no exception. Found these hiding behind a huge boiler in the derelict mental asylum over the weekend.

  • These three steam valves were just begging to be photographed, there is just something about things in threes which makes me want to start snapping away. Especially if there is a wee bit of irregularity in the shot like the left most valve having no pipe or the right one being chained.

  • Boom headshot.

  • Stainless steel food grade valve bodies, machined from solid blocks of stainless steel so they don’t warp when welded into place.

  • This iron valve was out in the dirt near the “Water Cure Facility” station at the ‘Castle on the Hill’ in Dansville, New York Nikon D80, 18-135mm, ISO 200 3 shots merge to HDR Related / N 42 34’ 4” W 77 41’ 19” / N 42.56804 W 77.68872 / UTM 18T 279310 4716325

  • Show your friends that you will betray them the second they turn their backs with this subtle spy shirt.

  • Never again will your friends ask “what class do you play?”

  • Inspired by Pink Floyd art. Two painters are colouring in the heart with paint. Small heart over the heart area of the tee. This version is in colour. For the halftone vector art copy, please go to: “http://www.redbubble.com/people/roca/t-shirts/3123452-2-colour-my-heart-halftone”

  • A Big Cylinder With Big Valves – Cockatoo Island Another mystery object – well, to me any way – on Cockatoo Island. Although the HDR processing has enhanced the blues and yellows on this rather extravagant drum thingo, there was in fact a lot of colour there to begin with. This was probably a result of the rusting process interacting with the sort of industrial chemicals that bring the word ‘toxic’ to mind. Now though, nestled into a grand alcove, the effect is all very delightfully sculptural. • This is a painting of some poorly plumbed hot water pipes at my work place. The piece is painted with Rublev 18th century reproduction watercolor paint on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper. The combination of large granule pigments with the course grained Arches paper creates some very interesting textures. The original size of the piece is 7” x 5”. Featured in Water Media group in July 2009. / Featured in Painters in Modern Times group in August 2009. /

  • “I got one confession / A love deprivation / I got a jet black heart / Its all fucked up and / It’s falling apart” Simple alternate version of my heart design, had it as a wallpaper so thought I might put it on a shirt too anyway. • This is an extreme micro shot of an old rusted and cracked gas gage on an old water heater! what caught my eye was the multi colors of rust and the different depths of cracks running through out… This was taken in Odessa, Texas with a Panasonic FZ50 Cracked Under Pressure /

  • This is the last shot in my trumpet/musical series that I have done for a friend. I have loved doing these shots and loved the way they have turned out and it has inspired me to look beyond the usual portrait and landscape shots that I do and stretch my imagination further to things a little LESS done. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28 with close up conversion lens / ISO 100, f/2.8, exposure 100, focal length 5mm
