I thought it would be fun to portray kitchen metal objects in a way that brings them to life and set them in a romantic setting at the same time. My grandmother has suffered a lot from arthritis, so do I at times. Medication helps, but for some people it’ plainly not enough and it can become very debilitating. And ordinary simple actions like holding a pen or a fork may be a real hardship.
