If you’re an artist or designer looking for some free hi res textures to use in you work, I am now giving away my personal textures for others to use in their work. These textures are completely free and can be used for commercial and non-commercial work. / If you could help spread the word about these free textures, I would be very grateful. / I’m also giving away free copies of my book to certain people who are of particular help in promoting these textures & my website. / Textures are available from: / http://www.ParableVisions.com Enjoy, - Cameron Gray

A zoomed out version of Fractal Design 5

During semester this year, as is obvious with doing two photography units, we have been looking at alot of different photographers. One of my very favourites, is Uta Barth. If you follow the link, you will see that she works a lot with light and the “idea” of images rather than taking a defined picture. Her main focus is light and how it interacts with a space or the shapes and feelings that can come from it. But don’t let me interpret it for you, check out the link and see for yourself. Anyway, I find her inspirational to say the least and her work led me on to what I have been playing with for the past month or so. It has taken so long because I could only shoot at a particular time of the day, for a finite amount of time and only when the weather conditions permitted. I have managed to capture hundreds of shots, however there are only a few dozen that are actually usable. I have had to be patient with this process, but I am really happy with the results. I would love some feedback on what people think of this following series. I would especially love some help with naming the group of photos. Each photo will be untitled, but I need a name for the series. My intention with it is for the viewer to read what you will from the images, I do not wish to influence that in any way and obviously with the ambiguity of them, there are many different ways of doing that. You can see many different things within if you look for long enough. Enjoy…
