Shot with a 35mm film with subsequent print scanned into Photoshop for a rigorous “enhancement” effort (fun and beneficial) due to such a rare capture. Clean-up was mandated. Shadow detail and full ranges of gray tones also were Photoshop candidates in retaining good contrast.

Taken in January 2005, just south of Perth, Scotland. I looked out the window here late one evening to see a “cloud” of luminous green oriented downwards – “that’s no cloud!” and 5mins later I was a couple of miles away in the middle of nowhere on the road south of Moncrieffe Hill, admiring the pretty greens and reds :)

Where the daytime sky shines brightly with stars and the clouds drift by like quick sea currents swirling with spirals. It’s a masjid that resides on a beautiful planet 10,000s of light years from Earth established by Pakistani Space Explorers centuries ago. This is a place of tranquility and peace. A place like no other on the edge of the gamma quadrant of the Milky Way.
