Hosier Lane in Melbourne, Australia. A result of 9 images (3 HDR’s) done in Photomatix. Merged the HDR’s in photoshop using automate > Photomerge. I was having lunch with my beautiful wife the other day at a rather unusual place, right across the road from my office. Never been there before… it was at the Northern Metropolitan Institute of Tafe and they have the special room on the third floor where trainee chefs get to practice their cooking skills and serve to the unsuspecting public. This was the view virtually from the table I was sitting at… the view was way better than the food!

John Lennon Wall, Prague / After John Lennon’s assassination in 1980 mourners in (then) Czechoslovakia painted images of Lennon and words of love and condolence on a large inner-city wall in Prague. The communist authorities had the wall painted over. Undaunted, the fans put up new poems and art, and thus a tradition began. No longer painted over by authorities, the John Lennon wall is a massive artwork in progress, continually being painted over and over and densely layered with words of love and peace from individuals all over the world. Power to the people, right on! /
