Bird table antics of young Greenfinch and parent bird. This was a strange one – the young bird lay on the top of the bird table with one wing outstretched as if injured. Behaviour that I’ve seen in Lapwings and other birds as some form of distraction. After a couple of minutes the parent arrived and gave the youngster a severe ‘talking to’!
