  • Never Quit Searching
    by hatefueled

    US$4.28–US$114.00

I finally got to paint this from my digital manipulation, Don’t Give Up Searching . I’m so pleased with the result. I used a few different textures and oil paint and made the eye brown rather then blue so that the image was unified in pallet to suit a college project so that I could paint this particular piece without abandoning duty.

  • Look Up
    by John Barratt

    US$3.36–US$89.68

This was taken on a foggy day in the Toolangi State Park in Victoria with a wide angle lens. The position I was in gave an almost symmetrical view following the trunks into the canopy. ~ / Browse Images by Category : Snow Landscape Nature

Check it out here! ** / Molly the Lil Witch, Oscar and Ophelia by Paul Rees-Jones The night was stormy and rather bleak, / Molly was a little bored witchy freak. She mulled over spells and warmed up her cauldron, / To create some friends to end her boredom. She delicately sewed a doll from rags, / Smiling and singing, a rather cute hag. And when she was done she was bright as a star, / Because held in her hands was the rag boy, Oscar. But soon she thought about the little boys heart, / To be all alone when his life just starts. So she borrowed small string of yarn from his hair, / And fashioned Ophelia, a sister to share. A spell and a cloud of nasty green smoke, / And Molly had made two little doll folk.

The original artwork is done in acrylic on stretched canvas. This was painted on a cold windy winter night a few years ago, and I wanted to paint something that will warm me up. What better way than a nice cosy blanket with swirls and colours! Enjoy!

  • “Let’s stick with cutesy…” is hardly what R.K. told me when I asked her to help remake this police lineup painting. (click me for police lineup girl) “Hello Trouble!” is actually what came outta her mouth during our shoot while she even played the classic by Buck Owens for me in the background. Her rad husband did the background too! I know I’m not even close to 6 feet tall…& until she believed in this, I didn’t have a vixenesque shot in my portfolio. Nobody would take this project on with me until Riley Kern. And now it’s the one shot constantly asked for in prints, or saught after for permission to use. Not only that, but she’s taken my motto, my tattoo – the very attitude that get’s me through many hard days & made a signature shot outta it for me. It’s the one shot I felt comfortable naming “Hello Trouble” Where are my manners!? Let me introduce you to Riley… She’s the honey bee of western pin ups. Her attention to the style surpasses any I’ve ever seen. She pays homage to many classic western pin ups, including Petty’s little stand up base girl…which was mimicked to near perfection. (click me to see Riley Kern) Luckily for all of us she’s decided to pick up the camera herself & get learntt on the stuff!....Not so lucky however, for many photographers out there. So while she plucks out her pretty pictures for ya, she’s drowning out the mediocre guys for us too.

  • Title: Woke Up From the Strangest Dream / Artist: Jessica Tremp / Model: Jo O’Brien I dreamt of a stormy, wild sea. / Starfish clung anxiously to my eager limbs as I swam through murky waters hastily, escaping vicious sharks onto a windswept dark beach, where lovers ran from rogue waves up sandy banks to reach a safe haven of warm golden sun-kissed hair. / Intertwining. / Until one of them is swept away out of the others desperate clutches by angry water under a moist sky, slipping from unwired fingers and left counting an exhausted dolphin’s last heartbeats, cradling on the anguished shore of the sad, sad silence. other image from this location
