According to my beliefs and personality it doesn’t come easily to write about ‘me’. Reading how people feel and react to certain stimuli one become very aware that we are walking on egg shells, people egos, especially those who have turned inward. All I can say at this point in time is that I shall continue to read ‘some’ material, impossible to read all, and see if this exercise is for me, or not. :-) Have the day you desire, that is my wish for you. xoxo

Maybe this isn’t the right place to be communicating what’s happening in my life but I have to let it out from time to time. I’m now approaching 58 years of age and still have the great passion for photography that I always had. I became unemployed just over a year ago and still haven’t found a job. I bought a Nikon D3 and 3 Nikkor lenses plus flash gun etc. as I was helping a friend out with a wedding and thought that wedding photography might be the way to go. Hence getting the D3 for it’s quality of image. We did the one wedding and haven’t found any more work since despite creating my own website dedicated to this purpose. I bought the Nikon D3 and associated ‘gear’ on one of these buy now pay later schemes as we were selling the house and moving which would give me the funds to repay the loan very quickly. Well the credit crunch hit us here in the UK and a year later we still haven’t sold the house and don’t look like doing so any time soon. So I’m still unemployed, get no benefit (as my partner works), can’t get out to take photographs (no money to pay for transport) and if something good doesn’t happen to me soon it looks like I’ll have to sell ‘all’ of my photographic equipment to pay the money owing and never have the funds again to buy camera equipment. Yes I know, hind-sight is a wonderful thing! Life sucks sometimes. Excuse me while I go and have a cry… yes seriously!!!

Sorry about the picture overload guys! I took the advice of a new friend and posted some more pictures. I tried my best to edit them, but I’m really new. I took all these pictures with a Sony Cybershot and used Windows Photo Gallery to edit the basics. I took pictures of the familiar- so these are special to me because they are personal. Maybe I’ll try to do more in this genre of art. Who knows!
