All proceeds from the sale of this shirt go to The First Church of Polytheistic Monodeism, founded by my husband, Reverend Damien Freeze. He has given me permission to market his original design to benefit his church. The philosophy of the church is that all gods are individualistic interpretations of the Universal Deity. / The central symbol in the design is representative of unity. The five points of the pentagram and the five colored rings intertwined with it represent the five ancient elements; Earth (green), Air (yellow), Fire (red), Water (blue), and Spirit (white). The pentagram contains every shade of the visible spectrum, signifying the all-inclusiveness of the Church. Surrounding the center, in no particular order, are the iconic symbols of several world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Wicca, and more. The symbols are arranged in a circle to signify that no one of them has any priority over the other ones, that all are equal. The slogan “We are all children of the same Universe” is meant to convey the central message of the design. / Celebrate your open-mindedness with this unique conversation-starter!
Pangaea If, at the dawning of this world, we were ever one / Then tell me how it is that we’ve withered away to this Tell me how we have fractured / Into nothing greater than six billion separate islands / Adrift between vast and deep oceans / Constantly eroding our shores Six billion. . . / Moving at a slow / Almost imperceptible rate / Drawing us to our final destination / That is neither here nor there And we, / The meek and the inheritors / Six billion lost / And not one capable / Of remembering / What it means / To be whole by nicolas hall An image and poem based on the idea of the world’s creation. Pangaea is the name commonly associated with the landmass that broke into the pieces we now call our continents. On a more personal scale, it is symbolic of a union long forgotten. And strong connections eroded by time and tide. . .
I love this image because it’s a reminder to me that daily life and worship are not separate entities but more like two hands folded in prayer, a prayer that flows like a peaceful melody from sunup to sundown and throughout the night in wonderful continuity and harmony. Taken at Acadian Village in Lafayette, Louisiana.

IF U LOOK DEEP INTO IT / U WILL C PEOPLE COME IN ALL SIZES, SHAPES , AND COLORS / ALL LIVING AROUND EACH OTHER / SOME TEND TO STICK CLOSE TO THE SAME / THAT USED TO BE THE NORM / BUT IT’S A BEING IN A STORM / WIND BLOWING U IN ALL DIRECTONS / WHERE YOU’LL LAND / THERE’S NO PROTECTION / FROM U AND WHAT U REALLY R / THINK CAREFULLY / OR YOU WON’T GET TO FAR / SOON WE’LL ALL BLEND RIGHT IN / LIKE A MELTING POT MY FRIEND / IT’S SEEMS TO HAVE ALREADY BEGUN / RACIAL UNITY / SOON WE’LL BE ONE

On Monday, January 19th, Martin Luther King Day is observed in the U.S.. / His most infamous speech, “I have a Dream” was delivered to 250,000 civil rights supporters on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, at the culmination of the march on Washington for jobs and freedom, in August 1963. The speech is credited with mobilizing supporters of desegregation and prompting the 1964 Civil Rights Act. / Much of “This Dream”, seemingly died with him, when he was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee by a sniper’s bullet while he stood on the balcony, prior to a planned protest to march in sympathy for striking garbage workers in the city. The day before, he delivered a speech recalling a previous attempt on his life – prophetically explaining with serenity, “I’m happy, tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man.” On Tuesday, January 20, Barack Obama will be sworn in as the first African American President of the United States. This, to me, represents the return of the “Dream” and the American soul. / America is many things, but it isn’t a nation with a wisdom tradition – it needs to become one and soon…we need to become a wiser nation that is capable of introspective politics with a deeper regard for its philosophical and spiritual roots. It needs to return to a respect for higher principles and considerations of the generations to follow. / We were founded by philosophers and political mystics, men who held high dreams about what the human spirit deserved in terms of right government. America was born to be an experiment in the rights of the spirit as best as could be incarnated by men who could see the potential if successful for the benefit of all humanity. / The inauguration of Barack Obama represents far more than the historic swearing in of America’s first African American President. It represents a shift in the compass of power of America as it enters the global era, leaving behind America’s century of wealth and military domination. The days of international cooperation and diplomacy have begun with crises on every front, we also need to rediscover ourselves economically. Surely Americans are capable of creating ways of responding to the needs of this world rather than becoming dependant and fearful (returning to the days of the Great Depression). / The fact that we are on the verge of a new era already says that the inspiration abounds for those who are ready and able to make bold choices. / In voting in Barack Obama, we voted to return to the sacred contract of America because this man represents the rule of law. He is a professor of Constitutional Law, a man who respects the Bill of Rights and the fundamental principles upon which this nation was built. / WE CHOSE THE SPIRIT OF AMERICA OVER THE ILLUSION OF THE POWER OF AMERICA. / The well being of America is in our hands and it is up to us to reach into ourselves and reach for the soul paths of our lives, our highest potential of hope, ending the war, and the realism about the fact that we will need to sacrifice to make it through the years ahead together, with the spiritual grace of our forefathers. / I have a dream today in 2009…Welcome back America and may we bless and watch over President Barack Obama, his family and each and every conscious American! Photos of MLK, Obama and Flag are from public domain Google images, the eagle head is my own; the words are from MLK’s speech, “I have a Dream.” I still have a dream
My dear brother Kumar was recently approached by Robert Matthews of the Freedom in Words group to come up with a series (under the eyes of the group) on how to become an artist… Kumar and I have discussed our “R”evolution (as in the dance of life) being a process of change in a particular direction, perception or thought pattern. / We agreed I would kick off the idea with this piece of artwork representing ‘United Thought’: as we join, combine and corporate to form a single “WHOLE”, we connect closer to the Universal energy of totality. The known objects and phenomena that all existing things, including the Earth and it’s creatures, the heavenly bodies, and everything throughout space – is affected by us, involves us all, and concerns us to act for the good of all – we would experience a new sense of power. Not in the capacity to possess control or command over others, but ascend to being effective in force. / “WE” as united spirits have the power and ability to produce valid results, in effect, begin to function as the humans we were intended to be – HUMANE! Humane is characterized as being tender, compassionate, merciful, kind, gentle, charitable, creative and sympathetic. / In my own artistic pursuits, I consider the creative force my dharma (sanskrit word meaning one’s righteous duty or virtuous path) which literally translates to ‘that which upholds or supports’, my own path to achieving UNITY in thought, action and deed. This artwork was created on a blank white canvas in photoshop with my Wacom Graphic pad/pen, edited/colored in photoshop and Redfield fractilius plug-in specifically for this endeavor. United we stand-Brotherhood of man
There is a beauty that comes from the spirit of ‘unity’, the idea that although we exist as individuals, we are inherently bound by uniting qualities such as human emotion, experience, and dreams. This painting acknowledges that unity; the human and also spiritual elements that tie us together. It urges acknowledging the spirit of our inner light, the inspiring inner light that connects us all. – Leni Kae This is the original work of Leni Kae (dip Colour Therapy), Copyright 2008 all rights reserved. WHITE ROSE / Best viewed large. / / Significance: Purity, Innocence, Sympathy, Spirituality / / / “WHITE ROSE” was FEATURED in the group AW WELCOME CENTER / / / / / “WHITE ROSE” was FEATURED in the group IMAGE WRITING / / / / “WHITE ROSE” was FEATURED In the group FIRST THINGS / / / This was the first white rose I received this year, and it was / in a gorgeous, lavender vase with eleven other beautiful roses in my Mother’s Day bouquet. / / / With its pristine appearance, the white rose has come to symbolize purity, innocence and secrecy. There are myths and legends from several different cultures relating to the origin of the first rose which is initially white in color and is then miraculously transformed. Oftentimes the pure white rose was depicted as being stained by blood, or made to blush from a kiss. The recurrence of this theme does a great deal to establish the white rose as a symbol for purity. Early traditions used white roses as a symbol for true love, an association which would later become the hallmark of the red rose. White roses continue to endure and retain their symbolism of innocence, and they are used to express many things. Also known as the bridal rose, the white rose is a traditional wedding flower. In this sense, they are a representation of unity, virtue, and the pureness of a new bond of love. White roses are also a symbol for young love, and makes them ideal for marriages. Bridal bouquets are often comprised of white roses and other white flowers. White roses are also associated with honor and reverence, which makes them a fitting memorial for a departed loved one. Funeral and sympathy arrangements traditionally incorporate white roses as a part of the tribute. As a symbol of remembrance, the white rose represents heavenliness and is an expression of spiritual love and respect. . White roses can mean many things to many different people. They can symbolize new beginnings, or be a sign of farewell. They can convey feelings of love, friendship, respect and hope. Underlying all of these messages is the impression of innocence and purity with which white roses are now synonymous. Arrangements of white roses are most beautiful, but they can carry a mystery or a complexity that belies its simpler beauty. Whatever the reason white roses are given, they will surely be deeply appreciated! Information obtained here on the WHITE ROSE / / Photo shot with my Canon EOS 40D camera.
Courtesy Wikimedia here Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009), dubbed the “King of Pop”, was an American recording artist and entertainer. His innovative contributions to music and dance, along with a highly publicized personal life, made him a central part of popular culture around the world for four decades. One of eleven artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his achievements included multiple Guinness World Records—including the “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time”—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles, and the sale of over 750 million records. He was also a notable philanthropist, donating millions of dollars to the 39 charities he supported, and raising more through his own Heal the World Foundation. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he made his performing debut in 1964 as a member of the group that became The Jackson 5, beginning a solo career in 1971. His 1982 album Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, with four others—Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991), and HIStory (1995)—among the best selling. He popularized several physically complicated dance moves, such as the robot and the moonwalk, now iconic. He is widely credited with having transformed the music video from a promotional tool into an art form, with videos such as Thriller, “Beat It” and “Billie Jean” making him the first African American to amass a strong crossover following on MTV, and others, such as “Black or White” and “Scream”, ensuring his popularity well into the 1990s. Jackson’s personal life generated significant controversy. His changing appearance was noticed from the early 1980s, his skin appearing paler and his facial features becoming almost androgynous. He was accused in 1993 of child sexual abuse, and though no charges were brought, his health suffered when he started using painkillers to cope with the stress. He married twice, first in 1994 and again in 1996, and brought up three children, one of them with a surrogate mother, actions that triggered more speculation about his life. In 2005, he was tried and acquitted of different child molestation allegations, which provoked a further decline in his health. Jackson died at the age of 50 on June 25, 2009, in Los Angeles, after suffering cardiac arrest. His memorial service was broadcast live around the world, and watched by up to one billion people. Courtesy Wikimedia here “Black or White” was the first single taken from Michael Jackson’s Dangerous album, released on November 1991. The single is considered the biggest selling rock song of the 1990s. “Black or White” is a mix of hard rock, dance and rap, but basically it is a hard rock song like “Beat It”. Written, composed, and arranged by Jackson with the rap lyrics by Bill Bottrell, it is a song that promotes racial unity. The song’s introduction and main riff, reminiscent of that of “Hurts So Good” by John Mellencamp are performed by guitarist Slash and Bill Bottrell. The song peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, as well as in 18 other countries. Courtesy wikipedia here The purpose of black comedy is to make light of serious and often taboo subject matter, and some comedians use it as a tool for exploring important issues, thus provoking discomfort and serious thought, as well as amusement, in their audience. Popular themes of the genre include rape, murder, suicide, war, terminal illness, abuse, insanity, disease and crime. Pastel on canvas board, 1984 / This pastel drawing was submitted to the Cental Artist’s Comittee of the USSR in 1984 for their Poster Competition entitled “For Peace and Humanism and against the threat of Nuclear War”. I was awarded a Diploma (which I still cant read) for my efforts. The original was ‘lost’ somewhere in Moscow. / I gave the first print of a Limited Edition to President Bill Clinton after the fall of the Berlin wall as a gesture for the ideal of Peace, and so the image would be in Washington as well as Moscow.
