Single monarch butterfly enjoying a pink wildflower.
My take on MidEastern/East Indian Design.
Night walks can be very intriguing… This is the first time ever I’d see such moth… I didn’t modify colors through any programs.. this is as it was shot… What a beautiful color I find it has… :) HOw different… :)
Photograph taken on top of the Dome, Dawson City, Yukon Territory, Canada. / Summer solstice 2006, MIDNIGHT (June 22nd). / The sun that goes through the Inukshuk adds to the F-stop effect. Photography is a great way to capture what we want to remember. / Great souvenir for those of you who have traveled north to the Yukon and that have witnessed Solstice there as well. / A picture is worth a thousand words. / This one a thousand beautiful souvenirs.

I couldn’t help but pull over as I was driving down a fairly deserted road in Northern California when I saw this beautiful wild weed growing. I actually laid down on my back so that I could take the shot from the under side of the weed thinking that the contrast between the whit and blue would make for an interesting shot.
For this t-shirt I wanted to just play and come up with something unique. Once again I left it black just because I love the black on all the different color shirts. Hope you guys like :-)
“Think Lizards” A special non-profit series When you buy a “Think Lizards” card or print, the money from the product will be donated to the International Reptile Conservation Foundation http://ircf.org/index.php. / A little about the “Think Lizards” card series: / I was blessed a few years back to visit and take photographs at Mr. John Binns’ home. Mr. Binns has over 50 Iguanas on the premises and in his care. They are fascinating to see. He has several breeds such as the Giant Green Iguana, a tropical iguana also known as the Common Green which is the iguanas most pet owners have. He also has Rock Iguanas and Rhino Iguanas, which can live to be 100 years old! He also had a hybrid of the rare Blue Rock Iguana, an endangered species. I use it to do my stomach crunches and sit-ups. I remembered the movie, “The Professional” and decided to belt myself to the edge of my bed to do my sit-ups, the way Leon did in the movie, until my new stability ball arrived. I ended up hooking a bunch of belts together and thought to myself “Hey, that would make an awesome photo prop!” and the Belted series was conceived. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / visit the rest of this series . . . / / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / View All Art » 1 2 3 4 5 6 browse Jaeda’s photographic art by category: / dreamscapes, artistic nudes, couples, glamour, erotica, conceptual, sensual, portrait, spiritual, survivor art / /
The Sea Venture was one of the first ships to arrive in Bermuda. It was thrown accidentally off course by a hurricane and landed on the reefs intact. Its original course was with a fleet from England headed towards / Jamestown, Virginia to aid in the colonization. From being shipwrecked, the crew and passengers of the Sea Venture settled in Bermuda and benefitted from its tropical paradise and set up a small colony. This painting is a Mixed Media piece, combining original digital photography taken in Bermuda by me SBC, with my painting, and drawings. It is intended to capture the natural and surreal beauty of Bermuda through my eyes. This art won an Honorable Mention Award in the Rowayton Art Show in 2006 and First Place in the Darien Art Show in 2007. It is presently being considered for exhibition at the Royal Navy Dockyard Museum in Bermuda. Thank you for your interest, comments and purchases!

/ We stopped by Minter Gardens on our way home from our roadtrip to Harrison BC in October…..I took a couple of photographs before I realized that the garden was actually closed to the public and we were not supposed to be there (oops). The original photograph was taken using the pop art filter in camera, which made the colour looks quite psychedelic . I have added several texture layers and have desaturated the colours a bit (believe it or not). I realize this won’t appeal to everyone, but as a lover of strong and bold colour I am kind of partial to it :))
