  • *Graphite pencil on Bristol Board Paper ;) This is the first in my new series~ “Can I Live Here Too?” I have embarked on a journey to help the animals that have just as much of a right to live here as we do…..sad to say that baby seals like this are clubbed to death to be skinned, everyday at alarming numbers, these helpless innocent babies anywhere from 12 to 28 weeks are being murdered in terribly painful ways….I saw in a video called Earthlings, not only did they club the baby to death, they tossed its mangled body to the side where I watched the mother seal morning her baby, I felt her pain, you could see it in her eyes….she was so beside herself in the loss of her baby….I cant for the life of me understand this, I am crying at this very moment….its not fair…I cant sit here and not do anything any more…please help me teach people the importance of animals and their right to live….. / As with all in this series 50% of any and all proceeds go to the Defenders of Wildlife: in my attempt to help….please help open people’s eyes and show them how to love…. Another way to help and save, Wear your feelings for everyone to see with a T-shirt!

  • This is my beloved son, Thumper. He was 14 years old, and i’d had him since he was born. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 7/7/08. He was my whole world, my inspiration. I miss him so very much. It hurts to even think about it. This is possibly my favorite picture ever. I meant to keep my hand in there, to show what he is blissful over… i hope that came across. I really would especially love CC on this one. Model: Thumper / Date: Spring 2007 / Location: Revere, Ma, USA / Photographer: FireLilyAMG/Allyssa L. Edwards Feedback always encouraged and appreciated. You may not use my artwork without my permission. If you’d like to use a piece, contact me and we’ll discuss how you can.

  • This is my favorite photo. My son was in his room going though his things and brought out his (old) new testiment Bible. I noticed he had been folding some of the pages and thought that it would be need to see if I could make a heart with it. He then spoted the flowers I was photographing and started the “she loves me she loves me not” pedal pulling game and a few landed on the pages. I love the effect. I hope you all like it as much as I do. I also feel that this has a double meaning. The Bible was written with love and to be able to depict that with a photograph of a heart with the Bible is just awe inspiring to me. starting 2/28/09 all proceeds will be donated to American Cancer society. / / Sold as card 9/7/08 / Sold as card 10/20/08 / Sold as card 01/12/09 / Sold as card 2/13/09 / Sold as laminate print 2/15/09 unknown buyer taken with Nikon D80 18-55mm Macro lense 55mm length f/5 iso 100 1/60 Featured on homepage art 9/07/08 / A glimps of this photo can be see on the Australian Morning New’s here they start talking about redbubble at the 5 min mark and my photo can be seen at 6:47 mark lower left of the screen in the corner. She saw an opportunity for good free grub and took it …..what clever cat wouldn’t. / We affectionately called her Dibley as shemade the first ‘connection’ with us whilst we were watching ‘The Vicar of Dibley’: the dog collar suited the name and it stuck. / By the time we moved to a more rural setting the fat was part of the clan. More fool us the ‘fat’ cat we adopted, was infact pregnant and gave birth within days of moving to our new home. She took up “residence” in a part completed fireplace and gave birth to four – Liquorice, Minty, Linford and Chloe. / Ever felt that you’ve been ‘had’? The tabby cat has a distinctive coat that features stripes, dots, or swirling patterns. Tabbies are sometimes erroneously assumed to be a breed of cat. In fact, the tabby pattern is a naturally occurring feature that may be the original coloration of the domestic cat’s distant ancestors. Tabby color is found in many breeds of cat, as well as among the general ‘moggy’ (mixed-breed or mongrel) population. When cats are allowed to breed randomly, the coloration of the population tends toward brown mackerel tabbies with green eyes[, leading geneticists to believe that this is the common wild phenotype of the domestic cat. The tabby usually has an “M” mark on its forehead. The word, adapted from the name of a kind of textile, comes from French tabis, which was earlier atabis, and in medieval Latin attabi. The distant origin of the word seems to be from the Attabiyah section of Baghdad where a type of striped silk was made that was later used to describe cats. Since the tabby pattern is a common wild type, it would be assumed that medieval cats were of tabby type. This was not the case in England at least. Some time after the mid-17th century, the curious antiquary John Aubrey noted in his disorganized memoranda, “W. Laud, A.B. Cant. was a great lover of Catts. He was presented with some Cyprus-catts, i.e. our Tabby-catts, which were sold, at first for 5 pounds a piece: this was about 1637 or 1638. I doe well remember that the common English Catt, was white with some blewish piednesse : sc, a gallipot3 blew. The race or breed of them are now almost lost.” William Salmon, in The Compleat English Physician, (London, 1693:326) notes of the domestic cat, “It is a neat and cleanly creature, often licking itself to keep it fair and clean, and washing its face with its fore feet; the best are such as of a fair and large kind and of an exquisite tabby color called Cyprus cats”. A study by the National Cancer Institute suggests that all current house cats (Felis catus) in the world are descendants from a group of self-domesticating wild cats 10,000 years ago, somewhere in the Near East. The closest relative of the Wild cat is the Sand Cat (Felis margarita). DIBLEY /

  • My Spirits Guides wish to let you know that they send you heartfelt compassion. When we are truly enlightened we are able to love ourselves and others unconditionally. We need to understand this inorder to accept certain events and feelings that manifest themselves in our life. If we are able to accept these factors and access our feelings then the door of self -acceptance allows us to walk through. Compassion is not a word used very often today. However, I must stress this to you. Once, you do this, your self -worth will begin to grow and you will not depend on outside influences for acknowledgement. As you begin to learn unconditional compassion towards yourself, your need to criticise and judge others will drop away. My Spirit Guides have made me feel that you may have been too harsh on yourself and shut down feelings which you have experienced. On a daily basis try and find time to sit down and reflect on unconditional compassion for yourself. This will make you feel more comfortable and loving and expand into your whole being. I have unconditional compassion for every emotion I feel. This painting is dedicated to Paul – Painted with My Spirit Guides – With / Healing Thoughts And Love From The Sparrows. • The Jordy Fund Jordy’s Story Another Tee for those who have followed Jordy’s Story and would like to have something they can wear proudly in support of him and myself :) :) If you would like to see how the Jordy Fund is doing click HERE This Tee was lovingly designed and offered to me to go towards the Jordy Fund by my Angel TBO Here is what she has to say about it :) :) Jordy is the biggest cat and loudest purrer I have ever seen/heard! He is also loved dearly by so many. He is loved so much he’s like everyone’s favourite teddy bear from our childhood. He’s a tough kitty in every sense of the word! The reason why i wanted to do this b/c i think its important to give. I do this without my TBO logo, this is not about me, but about Craig and Jordy, both whom I love so much. If two people can work together and get a message out there, then its twice as powerful. So if you’re a fan of TBO or a fan of Craig and Jordy’s – or even both (oh you!) then buy this tee and show your support! Thank you so much Princess … we love you so much!!! XXX

  • Being Sixteen
    by JaneSolomon

Ruby hangs like rope / In her world of make believe / Wide eyed and sixteen / Withdrawn from all the vermin / Now dreams are all that matter ...

The imagination is a wonderful and very powerful thing and when I was sixteen I discovered that I could use it to escape reality altogether and to create whatever I needed, someone who loved me unconditionally and a place of safety, as a means of survival. Somewhere over the rainbow / Way up high, / There’s a land that I heard of / Once in a lullaby. / Somewhere over the rainbow / Skies are blue, / And the dreams that you dare to dream / Really do come true. / Someday I’ll wish upon a star / And wake up where the clouds are far / Behind me. / Where troubles melt like lemon drops / Away above the chimney tops / That’s where you’ll find me. / Somewhere over the rainbow / Bluebirds fly. / Birds fly over the rainbow. / Why then, oh why can’t I? / If happy little bluebirds fly / Beyond the rainbow / Why, oh why can’t I? Somewhere Over The Rainbow was written by: / Edgar Yipsel “yip” Harburg / Born: Apr 08, 1896 in New York, New York / Died: Mar 05, 1981 (car accident)
