BUY THIS CARD AND FEEL GOOD FOR WEEKS! Delightful baby welcomes home her parents. Taken in 1996 in Greystones Wicklow. I was taking portrait shots of the baby, she´s my cousins, through the kitchen back door window when the baby just latched herself onto the glass by her tongue and almost magnetically began to rise up the window frame. I could hardly take the picture for laughter. 3393 views / 125 favouritings / 166 comments / 4 sales C’mon Guys and Girls buy a baby today!! No offence to our American Friends… but it really gives me the #@!$ ’s the way you guys spell these words… there are many more, but these are the ones that really bug me! Please bring back the U and return to COLOUR & HUMOUR… it makes tagging and internet searches much easier for the rest of us ;o) I’m sure we are all missing out in one way or another when tagging work or websites and not using both spellings of these and many others… or am I just being dumb? Enjoy. .
These cool cats are from my favorite 60 TV show The Man From Uncle. . It was awesome! Make sure you check out my Bubble Site for more great designs, examples of which you can see below.
Uncle Dan Purdy passed away in 2006. Mister Purdy was a life-long ranch hand on Ulupalakua Ranch, on the island of Maui, Hawaii. He is one of the men who made the Paniolo, or Hawaiian Cowboy legendary for cattle handling skills. I asked to make this portrait of him one day as I saw him riding his horse down the road, all dressed up. His was a gentleman to the end. His extended family still works and lives on the ranch today.
A portrait of my Uncle Ray. A professional photographer for most of his life, a genuine gentleman, and producer of work to insipre the likes of me.
Uncle Ed designs and shapes surfboards near Tunnel’s Beach in Kauai, Hawaii.

In memory of my Uncle Peter who passed away recently. He was a great man and helped so many people throughout his 84 years. He survived World War 2 as a fighter pilot and spent 5 years in the Australian Air Force. Then spending nearly 40 years in the Commonwealth Bank. He was a strong supporter of the Liberal party and the RSL of Australia. He will not only be sadly missed by his many friends but our family will greatly miss his presence in our lives. My father said of his brother and their friendship that ” He had always felt there was an invisible umbilicol cord between them, and now its broken” To my Uncle Pete, “Teach the Angels how to really fly up there” xoxoxox

He was really ‘out’ of it,..and I am very happy about this shot,,it was in those really crowded places, no space , to many people, madness was it..so it worked out GOOD..one of my favorite shots!
A pic of uncle John on our Rainforest walk. : ) He had to look up so high at the canopy that his hat kept falling off!

Julie Langford graciously offered to “tweak” my image of the four horse team and I thank her so much! I have a few cards in mind and a possible revision to the anniversary card made with this image. Also, thanks very much to all for your wonderful comments and support.
I took this on Lighthouse Beach tonight, the 24th of June 2008 at dusk. / It’s not a particularly artistic photograph…and hardly fine art. But it was a beautiful moment spent with my uncle..just photographing nature with him on my 46th Birthday : ).My uncle John has Bi-Polar disorder, but he has made a huge contribution to his community and to our family. My uncle John is a very important person to me, he has overcome great hardships, his share of bad luck..(along with everyone elses) But I’m very proud of him : ) he is my mentor, and an inspiration.
HA… I have no idea.. Enjoy / I want you SO BAD
he actually is my uncle samuel, / the pix was taken 4 years ago, / just thought of giving it some HDR treatments
