  • Please Read This piece is special to me….ten years ago, I was struck blind suddenly – my life was thrown into instant turmoil. I was told I had an illness that would slowly take my life. The blindness was a symptom…. / I had my daughter then – she was only six – recently divorced and scared. My dear grandparents took me in and cared for me, along with my mom…. / It’s a long story—but nevertheless, it ended with a REAL miracle that no doctor could explain. My eyesight was suddenly restored and doctors were dumbfounded….I saw God enter their world of science – something they had trouble grasping. Here I am ten years later – with four children….with 20/20 vision. If anyone wants to know the whole story – feel free to note me and I can maybe give you some glimmer of hope in what might seem to be a hopeless situation. Never doubt! Always believe… I learned a lot thru that experience….I had been blind moreso before – blind to the little things that life gives us in the smallest of moments. / It took me losing my literal eyesight to see that… Sending you all of my love… Claudia stock / dazzle-stock.deviantart.com / germanstock.deviantart.com / vividlight.deviantart.com

  • Not photo shopped at all. These are natural colors. I just love my bright irises. My great grandma gave me the bulbs for these before she died. I always remember her when I see them.

  • She walks with downcast eyes / She speaks with hopeless drone / Her pain is seeping everywhere / a long and silent moan. Her hurts are real enough / for all they’re hidden from plain site / Her darkness is a shroud she wears / To keep away the light. So caught up in her grief is she / that something passes by / unnoticed, such a pity / there are angels by her side. And though she’s unaware of them, / they watch her as she goes / from place to place / unconsolable / Their love for her just grows. They keep her safe / they watch her steps / to see she does no harm / and all along she’s unaware / Of angel’s loving balm. / -Songwriter Featured in Feminine Intent (LIMIT TWO IMAGES PER DAY)

  • kingston usa ** / His name is Jacob, although he said he is also called James. / Why? He said, ‘It’s a name. They are all only names.” / When I asked if I could take his photo, he dropped his dirty plastic bag and without smiling, said, ‘Oh, How pleased I’d be to be caught by you.’ / Jacob/James and I spoke for a while, mostly about his beloved cat, and how she hopped into the shower today. / “I took it as a hint,” he said, almost smiling, but only with his very blue eyes. “So I got in there and washed up me, and thought I might do with a change of clothes, too” / He still carries a slight accent he claims is a hold-over from when he was a young man in Wales. His children are all gone. His wife, long dead. / I thanked him, and was about to go on my way, when he leaned back into the window of my car. / “I want to tell you something important,” he said, his already world-weary expression looking more grim than before, ‘I want you to eat better. I want you to take care of your liver. I want you to always smile like you smile now, and I want you to know that the world may be cold, but somewhere there is sun and warmth. I want you to be happy. It’s what’s intended for you.” / He turned and walked away. I sat there, not knowing what to say, save for some expressions of thanks, that sounded hollow to me, after his wish list stated for me. / I thought of The Bible verse: / “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unaware..” / / Taken in Kingston, New York / To view more of my images you can go to the link below / Peacefulowl Featured in Image Writing, All About New York State, Black and White Photography, and Insomniacs and Other Night Crawlers / Thank You :-)

  • A rare catch where he does not have the camera to his eye, AND is unaware he is the subject of a photo. As a result I love this portrait, I think it conveys pensive, thoughtful, observant, intense – all elements of his personality – very well.

  • An orange and white striped cat sits quietly in her bed on the windowsill pretending not to be aware that her picture is being taken.
