A Baby Colt getting his first lick of salt, I watched him slowing come over to it, he was a brand new colt, I love this close up, it was taken as is. This shot was taken with a Kodak Easy Share Camera. The settings were 1/350 sec. shutter speed, F-Stop F/3.6, 44mm focal length, Aperture Value was F/3.5. Set on Auto. I sold a matted and framed print of this, in a 11×14, at a starving artist sale.
This is my friend Shaggy, aka Andrew Rivers, and was taken in Southern Colorado on Continual Divide trail. And yes, we were, quite inexplicably, right on the trail.

This is a blast from the past. I pulled out this old invite from a gallery show I did back in 1998 at Delirium Tremens gallery (no longer) in Echo Park, Los Angeles, CA. This is a painting from the show and was the cover of the invite for the opening.

If we were any where else other than this part of Montana, I would have been very worried about that Black cloud!! It actually started snowing very heavy about a half an hour after I snapped this shot.
