  • “I believe that today more than ever a book should be sought after even if it has only one great page in it: we must search for fragments, splinters, toenails, anything that has ore in it, anything that is capable of resuscitating the body and soul.” / – Henry Miller, Tropic of Cancer The Untapped Source Store – Portfolio/Blog – deviantART Shop / “To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.”

  • Great ideas come into the world as quietly as doves. Perhaps then , if we listen attentively we shall hear, among the uproar of empires and nations, the faint fluttering of wings, the gentle stirrings of life and hope. Some will say this hope lies in a nation; others in a man. I believe rather that it is awakened, revived, nourished by millions of solitary individuals whose deeds and works every day negate frontiers and the crudest implications of history. Each and every one, on the foundations of their own suffering and joy builds for all. / – Albert Camus The Untapped Source Store – Portfolio/Blog – deviantART Shop / “To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.”

  • This work was created using some flower params sent to me from Plunder. / I basically zoomed into another area, and from there re worked the flowers using the orbit traps gradient (dmj5.ucl) I blended the flowers trap with arachnid 2 to find these flowers. I used the old conic light function to blend the leaves, with pixel and orbit traps for the boxes, and gaussian integer (standard) for the background. Exclusively Ultra Fractal 5.02 / Full view for best detail. / Thanks for any comments, critiques, or favorites. / Thank you Plunder for the wonderful params.

For me Autumn meant, going to Central Oregon, and being with my Grandmother. Her house decked out in all the fall colors, and bouquets, the smell of cinnamon, and cooking food. Her laughter, and jokes swirling about the house, the family bustling to prepare the food, while my grandfather sipped scotch and told stories to all of us. Their both long gone now.And now I don’t have much of a family, but I always have the memories, of the warmth, laughter, and togetherness, that is the Autumn Holiday Season. The spheres: My Grandmother’s Collection of crystal balls, and the love she had for all of us. The pads represent my grandfather, holding us all together, and the falling leaves, and flowers are the bouquets all over the house.
