The talented Sally Omar / got inspired by This work and wrote this Poem to go with this Image , Thank you my friend. / —-—-—-—-—-— / YES MASTER Thank you for letting me sit for a while / We have walked many miles / I am tired and I have a heavy load / Traveling so far on this sandy road / See my Master I am shedding tears / Doing this for too many years / We have traveled this lonesome place / With sweat dripping down your face / Can we not find something else to do / This is alot of work for me and you / Perhaps we can take a trip / I hear that there are ships / Do they allow Camels inside / Or do you think I must hide / You are a good Master I must say / For allowing me to sit this way / When you speak I understand / And you always give me a hand / I know that you are tired too / Sorry I can’t sing a song for you / It’s really hot and I feel I can’t breathe / When you get up I’ll follow your lead / I guess it’s time to be on our way / We’ll be walking for several days / Now when you are tired sit on my back / I will keep us on the right track / Then again when we’ve walked more miles / Let’s sit down and talk awhile.
Traveling on his way, the Fool first encounters a Magician. Skillful, self-confident, a powerful Magus with the infinite as a halo floating above his head, the Magician mesmerizes the Fool. When asked, the Fool gives over his bundled pack and stick to the Magician. Raising his wand to heaven, pointing his finger to Earth, the Magician calls on all powers; magically, the cloth of the pack unfolds upon the table, revealing its contents. And to the Fool’s eyes it is as if the Magician has created the future with a word. There are all the possibilities laid out, all the directions he can take. The cool, airy Sword of intellect and communication, the fiery Wand of spirituality and ambition, the overflowing Chalice of Love and emotions, the solid Pentacle of work, possessions and body. With these tools, the Fool can create anything, make anything of his life. But here’s the question, did the Magician create the tools, or were they already in the pack? Only the Magician knows – and on this mystery, our eloquent mage refuses to say a word. At #1, the Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud (“And God said ‘Let there be Light!’ and there was Light”). / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / To read more go to this site
Nature abstract painting. This weekend I was out in the Hajar Mountains , it is about an hour and half drive from Dubai city . here is what i call magic of nature , to me this is just God being an artist , we all can learn something from That. / these Mountains have many layers as you can see , millions of years old , and each layer only about 6 cm deep. Simply amazing what i Personally learn from Nature.it does not get better than this for me . / I kept the colors the textures the same as they are no playing around with Photoshop here.

Maybe its because I love these birds, falcon. A lesser kestrel or small falcon. OR it is because of the clarity of the falcon. OR it is because the falcon looks like it is ready for hunt for food. OR it is because it looks like the falcon is head right for you. OR it is because its is my first image added to my favorites. OR it is because……….Well I think it is because of its an overall beautiful bird!

A crested lark in early morning sunlight in the dune area of the United Arab Emirates. These guys are native, and very hardy surviving in the harsh desert environment and they have a wonderful light song. This male was too preoccupied with competitors to pay much attention to me (that is why his crest is up) Featured in “Natural Color and Light” Dec 23rd -2008
An adult and young spoonbill resting during migration in a small desert lake in the UAE. The young one has the black wingtips and the orange spoonbill. This pair (out of 8) seemed inseperable and had an obvious bond between them. Featured in “All that is Nature” Oct 31 – 2008

morning light on the dunes of the UAE
We had another large rainstorm last night the first rain in 10 months and in this narrow limestone canyon in the mountains these mini-mud dunes form – in a day or so they will return back to dust. Late afternoon light in the canyon. for a natures macro challenge (if I made it in time) The photo won the Earth Exposed challenge in “Natures Macro Canvas” so it was worth the time to run out and get the photo hours before the challenge closed – thanks to everyone who voted for it. Taken the same time from above
A new tourist attraction brings people from near Dubai over my house and through the dunes. I decided to chase them the other day till they landed. There were 3 balloons with the baskets carrying about 20 passengers. They had a great clear morning. The balloons landed near a large labor camp on a Friday morning when the folks do not have to work—they came out in mass to watch the spectacle. Most of the workers pictured are from Nepal.
