The reality for each one of us who isn’t, in fact, Justin Timberlake.
Pangrams demonstrating the beautiful Zapfino font: “How razorback-jumping frogs can level six piqued gymnasts!” (Used for font samples by the Macintosh, System 7 era), and “Foxy parsons quiz & cajole the lovably dim wiki-girl”.
Speaks for itself really
A big thanks to Jen Cannella for the buyers booth photo! / / /
At the risk of looking like a one-trick pony (and a derivative one at that, LOLOL!), I decided to stuff around with the Experimental Jetset idea a few more times and come up with some obnoxious variations on the “John & Paul & Ringo & George.” tees. Here is the obvious starting point ;-)
Used to wear this slogan, hand-painted, on an army surplus tee. Thought it would be a nice little act of subversion to print it across the boobs in a typically “babydoll” tee, and in a “fun” typeface. Now I’ll wear this one.

One for the party faithful.
I got this amazing EP on limited edition 7.5” white vinyl from Iceland, no one does pop the way they do. Elemental. Essential.
Here is everything I’ve learned in my graphic design course so far. Almost everything… The tricky part is my resources have been disagreeing about what names lend themselves to what letters. Ears, for example, occur only on the lowercase g, but are also found on r, f and a, depending on what the climate is like. Feel free to argue about this in a string of entertaining comments! Also, if I’ve spelled anything worng, or if you know any better than I do, please let me know and I will look into fixing it. / PS: this is also an experiment in horizontal halftone! However I’ve cheated and used original image at 30% transparency as a kind of bolster… any thoughts on the output??
whatever, i like it. / –
Every cat has a favourite friend and toy. Some just don’t last the rough play from the furry feline. This little kitten was originally created for a TAFE visual design lesson (diploma of multimedia), not long after I joined RB, but was far too cute to keep to myself!!
Does what it says on the label.
Helvetica.
Are you sick of seeing that bubbly, rounded, commonplace font that is so shamelessly used EVERYWHERE? That wicked typeface, aka Comic Sans has invaded just about every form of media ever created, wreaking design havoc in its wake. Fellow brothers and sisters, show your displeasure and make a stand against this rogue typeface and its victims with this shirt. If you have been guilty of ‘Comic Sans-mania’ (myself included), redeem yourself here.
I was watching the movie “The Ultimate Gift” listening to the character played by James Garner talking to his grandson when he said… ‘Learning is a gift… even if pain is your teacher”. As soon as the words had finished coming out of his mouth I honestly said out loud – YES!! Immediately I was blown away by the quote and I wrote it down and thought about its meaning for weeks. I’ve never felt so affected by a sentence before. Upon reflecting this quote I found quite confronting to realise that I spent my twenties doing everything to avoid and “run away” from my emotional pain.. Now in my 30s I’ve realised that pain was essential for me to be a more caring, less-judgemental and forgiving person. Pain seems to show us the truth in others… the truth that all people, no matter what’s on the outside… have a heart capable of breaking on the inside. It gives me great comfort that I can now view the grief of my brothers death as somewhat of a gift to me – rather than nothing but a loss FEATURED IN Prize Challenges GROUP / FEATURED IN Creative Inspirations / FEATURED IN YOU’RE ACCEPTED GROUP / FEATURED IN FIRST THINGS GROUP / FEATURED IN TYPOGRAPHY GROUP / FEATURED IN THE ART OF PAIN GROUP t-shirt available .

Gentle typographical WTF design WTF, an internet slang acronym for “What the fuck?” / Internet slang (Internet language, netspeak, or chatspeak) is slang that Internet users have popularized and, in many cases, coined. Such terms often originate with the purpose of saving keystrokes, and many people use the same abbreviations in text messages and instant messaging. Acronyms, keyboard symbols, and shortened words are often methods of abbreviation in Internet slang. Futura is a geometric sans-serif typeface designed between 1924 and 1926 by Paul Renner. It is based on geometric shapes that became representative visual elements of the Bauhaus design style.
