The remainder of a building, partially demolished stands right on the waters edge at an abandoned shipbuilding yard. Most of the windows in this place were either cracked, broken or completely removed. It made for some eerie nosies when walking about in the place with the wind rattling through and the curtains flapping about etc.

These were so lovely that coming at them from any new angle gave you an entirely different shot that you just had to take. Someone had obviously stolen the brass rods as you can see from the carpet being bunched here, but thats so very little to worry about when i think about what they could have done here.

I purchased a laminated print of this piece, and I have to tell you, the high gloss print just makes this one pop! It is so smooth and fluid. My only complaint is that everyone (with the exception of one of my neices) first comment is, “What is it?” Heck, when it first came, my husband said “What is it?” I said “An abstract” he said ”..so what is it..” We went back and forth a minute, then he finally gave me this odd look and said “People actually like this stuff?” LOL I’ve had people ask if it’s an ear, a dog’s dew claw, paint swirls, etc. I keep saying, it’s just a digitally rendered image, it’s nothing. I finally gave up and started say If that’s what you think it is, then it is. Personally, to me, it reminds me of blood cells flowing. LOL Like I said, it’s whatever you think it is! I Love Me as a greeting card design!! =D / In the background is the kanji “ai”, 爱 meaning love.. n_n” There are some of us, who took it upon ourselves to do things for others. to help others.. to make others happy.. but we forgot about ourselves! we forgot that we need to make ourselves happy too. we need to love ourselves too. if we don’t love ourselves, who’ll love us? i dedicate this to every one of you kind souls out there!! remember to always love yourself as well!! =D i especially thank Karin who kept reminding me that i am love-able as well. bad history and with the kind of people i’m surrounded by, i was made to believe that nobody will love me for everything that i am. am made to realise all my faults and bad points and weaknesses. made to believe am ugly and useless. having depression doesn’t help as i view myself as nothing more than a mental girl. i totally believe that it’s impossible for anyone to really love me. But Karin showed me otherwise. she made me answer and admit my pretty gd points.. and i realised.. hey!! i can be love-able?! am still trying to accept that now.. lolz.. it’s still kinda hard to accept, having been instilled those “i sux!” mindset for years… ahahahah.. XD Thank you, Karin!!
