  • I was extremely bored today and I wanted to do something creative so I found the bubbles and started blowing out in the backyard. It was a little windy today so it was a stupid idea but I couldn’t stop trying, I just wanted ONE ! bubble with some sort of reflection before it popped. It was a mess, dripping bubbles everywhere and dropping my camera around my wrist a hundred times and then POP…..too late ! but finally I got one I really liked ….it reminds me of a garden globe.

  • A photograph of a bubble on some twigs….much like the other one but this one had a lot more reflections and colors. You can see my camera and my hand in the middle as well. / It is very yellow, I don’t know how that happened, maybe the gloomy grey skies. Most of them are clear with blue and pink streaks. This one reminded me of colored mercury glass. / (I added shadow to bring out the colors more.)

  • Simmondsia vitra is closely related to the Jojoba shrub (Simmondsia chinensis), pronounced “ho-HO-bah”. Jojoba is native to the Sonoran and Mojave deserts of Arizona, California, and Mexico. Simmondsia vitra however is primarily found in arid urban environments and produces an extremely toxic, oily substance.
