Though it’s new here, it’s actually been sitting in my basement half finished for over 3 months. Finally got around to finishing it up. This piece was inspired by a conversation myself and Michael (Esum) had while hanging out one day. We talked about how we as a society seem to create things that only do harm and ultimately destroy everything in a certain radius (depending on the blast size). We have a multi-billion dollar industry in war alone and we see with war comes casualties, and casualties are just part of business…..and business is good.

This is a feral cat in Phoenix, AZ. She’s soooooo sweet! My friend has been taking care of several feral colonies at her apartments. She calls her Twinsy because she had a twin brother although he’s disappeared. Twinsy loves to be held & will hug you once you pick her up! She’s so loving!! /

We just cracked up when we saw Baby aka rescue kitty playing the keyboard! She only played a few keys, but she did it perfect, LOL. Baby was rescued by my daughter when she was approx. 4 weeks old and we bottle fed the little baby whom we named Baby!! She is a soft as silk Tuxedo Cat. She has the cutest beard and mustache, lol. She is just over one year old now. / BEST WHEN VIEWED LARGER /

Older cousins cuddle with and look after younger ones outside the well-house out here. One stray cat, now “Peanut Butter Sweet” successfully raised one calico daughter. Then before we even realized they were “plural”, Peanut had a lovely litter of tabbies, and a month later, her daughter presented us with a show-case litter of 3 patched calicos, one orange male (Barnie) and 3 little tuxedo children. All wild as hyenas. They’re taming up by watching Peanut obviously enjoy being petted and talked to. Tonight I fed most of the cousins by hand and said each one’s name as I handed him / her a bite. But my vet bill is going to be as big as a mortgage! / The is an outfit here that will pay half for me, and most local vets will take payments. So my main joy is in taming them and spending time with them. / 50 THINGS: Almost 50 paws in the pile… (48 paws.) Over 50 whiskers, though! / COMPACT CAMERA: CASIO, EXILIM 7.2 mp / CONTRASTING PERCEPTIONS: Orange baby stands out! / RESCUE: Well, their mom / grandma is a rescue… does that count for the children we’re saving and keeping, do you think? / >No more ‘ciao; it’s now “miao”< / Dayonda
