Acrylic on Canvas – 16” x 12” / Original is now SOLD Awwww. Poor kitty! Waking up in the middle of the night because of a nightmare can be a frightening experience…. especially when you’re alone! Sometimes all you can do is bravely seek the comfort of others! I have been working on this piece for the last few days and added the finishing touches this morning after I logged on to the Bubble and read dearest Fa’s AKA frozenfa recent journal entry. Tux is the official mascot of the Linux kernel. Originally created as an entry to a Linux logo competition, the image of the mascot is the most commonly used icon for Linux, used in many flavors showing Tux in one way or another. He is also used in many Linux games, which are usually look-alikes from other mainstream games.The concept of the Linux mascot being a penguin came from Linus Torvalds, the creator of Linux. My poor dog. I endlessly use him and he obliges me all the time. Of course my daughter will NOT let him be in the wedding. I thought that this photo would win her over but it did not. Look how dapper he is! He would be the perfect ring bearer for the Friday wedding I think. I just had to add this to show you that I am still alive and remain with my twisted sense of humor. My dog Comet still is the coolest dog around. I WILL be back after this wedding after Friday. / Pray for the dog who will be left out but looks so cool.

On the way to the farm called ‘Matilda’. You wouldn’t know it, but just over that horizon was quite the amusing shear drop. What did we have to worry about really? The Ford Territory in front of us made it OK… but the MINI – not really made for that kinda driving… but what the hey, we went for it anyway. I only split the front bumper a little and nearly slid off the side of the cliff once. OK, twice. / / In hindsight, it probably didn’t help there were 4 adults in the car either. At least it didn’t rain.
