  • ‘Dragonfly’ is from a petroglyph in Hopi Mesas, Arizona. It is often portrayed on alters & pottery. The Hopi hold Dragonfly in high regard, as it is believed to hold supernatural powers. I am making a sincere effort to present these designs as they originally appeared, with a wee bit of stylizing on my part. This series of tees is intended to honor the ancient ones and the art they left behind for us.

  • For Judi. Long may you run….. The Lenape (Delaware) Nation has handed down their story in pictograph form called the Walum Olum or Red Record. This design incorporates the pictograph of the Creation.

  • for Pinky… Crow teaches us about honoring our personal truth.

  • For Mar Silva whose Adventurous Spirit and Heart Connection to our Mother Earth make my Spirit soar. Thank you, Mar, for all your amazing photographs of our Beautiful Planet…..for the Sacred Moments in Time that you share with us all…..You truly Bless My Journey.

  • This design is about Emergence on many levels. The Spiral design at the bottom is from a petroglyph which represents the Emergence of humans from the womb of the Earth. It may be seen at Rock Ruin, Natural Bridges Monument in Utah. The 3 Butterflies are about our continual process of Transformation throughout our journey….3 for Body, Mind & Spirit in Perfect Balance. The Spiral for me expresses the flow of Divine Energy. Personally, I am feeling a great Evolution within myself as I experience my Inner Being Emerging through my Art. I want to thank this wonderful Red Bubble family for inspiring and supporting that Emergence. I am truly grateful to be a part of it all…...

  • A tree lives without pretense….without agenda…..and seemingly happy and at peace within herself…...I love that about nature….it just is…..and it is beautiful. This wonderful old Ponderosa Pine stands in my front yard in Estes Park, Colorado.

  • As I looked up high into the trees and saw the Raven sitting on a branch, I wondered…..what does he see from way up there? What a perspective he has….and I thought about it….seeing…..vision….there is so much to be seen with the eye….but to see that which is invisible and can only be felt with the heart…..that is really seeing. Looking at the eyes of this Raven, it feels to me that he is in meditation….in another realm…...in vision…

  • i think the quote says it all….. Taken in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.

  • Treasure the moments….enjoy the journey….. Taken at Lily Lake….Estes Park, Colorado.

  • Today my friend Shilohlin and I went on an adventure into Rocky Mountain National Park. One of the first sights we saw was this beautiful Mountain Bluebird. I felt so honored to see him, as they are becoming more rare due to the decline of their nesting habitat. My immediate thought was, ‘ahh….the bluebird of happiness’..... Bluebird reminds us that we are born to be happy and inspires us to take more time to enjoy ourselves….wow, was that loud and clear to me! I have been struggling with balancing my energy lately…giving so much away and not leaving any for play time for me…..so I smiled inside, knowing that the Mountain Bluebird had brought a message I really needed to hear…..I took it to heart, let go of my ‘to-do list’ and did indeed enjoy myself today!!!

  • No matter what language it is spoken in, the intention is the same….. This is adapted from a page in my Peace Calendar

  • Last night’s sunset (August 27, 2009) was one of the most colorful, incredible ones I have ever seen…..it felt like the whole world was glowing with divine color…..a perfect way to say goodnight!!! Estes Park, Colorado.

  • In honor of the anniversary of my ancestors, The Cherokee (Tsalagi) – I wish to share a part of myself with all who have joined The Beginning of a new Trail... The Spirit of the Native Indian group has honored us all on this day and for this I am grateful. The photograph is part of an old quilt with the Cherokee Seven -pointed star which represents the seven clans; I am of the Bird Clan, our color is purple and our wood is Maple; the Owl represents my name “WindOwl”, this particular Owl is a barn owl that I rescued several years ago from being shot, then run over – I learned much from this raptor while we spent 9 months together, before his release. Cherokee Prayer / Oh Great Spirit, / grant that I never find fault with my neighbor / until I have walked the trail of life in his moccasins. DOHIYI to ALL who have joined in this remembrance… Coppertrees / Sophie / jan landers / Romo Amazing heARTworks…

  • In the big picture of things, All is Well….the Universe operates in Perfect Balance, even when we don’t feel it. Don’t you just love those moments of Grace when you feel so aware of the Synchronicity of Life and the Sacred Peace that comes with that? The Balance—Moody Blues / After he had journeyed, / And his feet were sore, / And he was tired, / He came upon an orange grove / And he rested / And he lay in the cool, / And while he rested, he took to himself an orange and tasted it, / And it was good. / And he felt the earth to his spine, / And he asked, and he saw the tree above him, and the stars, / And the veins in the leaf, / And the light, and the balance. / And he saw magnificent perfection, / Whereon he thought of himself in balance, / And he knew he was. Just open your eyes, / And realize, the way it’s always been. / Just open your mind / And you will find / The way it’s always been. / Just open your heart / And that’s a start. And he thought of those he angered, / For he was not a violent man, / And he thought of those he hurt / For he was not a cruel man / And he thought of those he frightened / For he was not an evil man, / And he understood. / He understood himself. Upon this he saw that when he was of anger or knew hurt or felt fear, / It was because he was not understanding, / And he learned, compassion. And with his eye of compassion. / He saw his enemies like unto himself, / And he learned love. / Then, he was answered. Just open your eyes, / And realize, the way it’s always been. / Just open your mind / And you will find / The way it’s always been. / Just open your heart / And that’s a start.

  • ‘Tatanka Ska’ means White Buffalo in Lakota. Buffalo represents Prayer and Abundance….the herds provided food, clothing and shelter to the Plains People. The Medicine of Buffalo is about honoring all that Mother Earth provides for us. It is about the understanding that abundance is ours when we honor all Life as sacred and give thanks for all that we have been given. Buffalo inspires us to connect with the true meaning of Life. The White Buffalo is especially sacred to the Lakota people, as its story & prophecy have been told and retold for generations among them. Legend of the White Buffalo

  • I was walking along the shores of Lake Estes early one morning looking at all the wonderful ripples in the sand, when I saw this beautiful crescent moon. I took a shot, added the blue and created a sort of cosmic feeling…nature is an amazing artist….

  • An animal’s eyes have the power to speak a great language. / -Martin Buber This young Mule Deer was one of 13 in our yard and driveway yesterday morning scrounging for food in the midst of a bitter cold week. I put out some sunflower seeds for them, which they scarfed up….their big gentle eyes told me how grateful they were and my heart smiled….it’s so true that when we give to others, we give to ourselves… God Bless All Beings who are enduring this extreme cold….God Bless Us All…. Estes Park, Colorado
