This came to me in a dream, a new aisle had magically appeared in my favorite hardware store, and I was choosing parts to make one, various neoprene bags, nozzles, plastic fittings and threaded couplings, even a row of Robo Suds in squeeze bottles. I’ll be very disappointed if someone doesn’t invent this. play this

This is an old shot I had of a Ford BA XR6 Turbo, taken at Docklands, Melbourne, Victoria. The photo was taken in the evening out of a moving vehicle, and although it turned out quite well I wanted to do something different with it. I decided to go nuts with Photomatix and Photoshop. Its a little different to my usual car shots but I like it. Shot with a Nikon D200, 28-70mm lens 28mm, 1/60 sec F/4.8, ISO 560, hand held while hanging out the window of a moving vehicle. Triple tone mapped in Photomatix, crop, levels, desaturation, noise, texture effects, sharpening etc in Photoshop.

Red and Blue Turbo / / Red and Blue Turbo / Photo of a beautiful multi-colored lit sculpture at least 30 to 40 feet high in Fort Worth, TX. These are the original colors and have NOT been manipulated. The lighting is created by two glass windows on the pavement which slowly rotate one or two colors at a time with about 12 different combinations. They only look silver during the day but outstandingly colorful at night. Absolutely beautiful !
