The very talented / wrote this beautiful poem ; When I lay myself down maybe one day, maybe then / I will see you in the street / looking only my way / and walking only to me / with a ‘I am here to stay’ maybe one day, maybe then / you will take my hand / and send shivers unto me / with just a gentle exhale / setting my soul finally free maybe one day, maybe then / we will feel in the now / a too good to be true / a shudder and shake / a letting go inside you but until then…. I will lie on my bed / close my eyes / and pray / that I find you tonight / in the moments of my dream / where you are mine / and I am yours… where I can say… / I missed you today
I took this photo in Spring , and kinda forgot about it . / It’s somewhere between Gore and Invercargill. / I love the bright blue sky and the wispy clouds :) They are tulips btw .
When the mood takes you, and she looks and smells good enough to eat… feast in the lap of the lover that stole your soul, feast at the feet of the Goddess.
It’s Easter today and my mom stopped over early to give these to me, I took a picture of them to make them last forever. Today is a beautiful sun shiny day, the sky is so blue with puffy white clouds. Well I better get busy and put the Ham in the oven….............Happy Easter !!!!!!
This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before she realized she wasn’t interested in tulips. / Captured in Cave Creek, Arizona, with a Canon 20D. Other hummingbird photos: / /
Taken just before sunset.

This image defines me in many ways. My favorite flowers are tulips and my favorite color is red. A flower goes through many stages in it’s life as does a human being. In that process it too, weeps. This is a personal feeling I get from this image. / MCN: C50B3-92AFF-C4A7D June 2009…placed in the Top Ten in the All Things Green and Red chellenge hosted by the First Things group. Featured In: / -Layered With Texture I bought these tulips with the intention of doing a still life but once I set everything up I was fascinated by the variations in the petals. So instead of the set up I had planned I pulled out a different lens (macro) and decided to just photograph the flowers themselves. There’s something so cheery about tulips in the house while there’s snow outside….they’re a wonderful reminder that spring will be here soon. HollyCawfieldPhotography
The sunlight through the petals and leaves looked lovely against the backdrop of the snow outside. Our short days make sunshine seem all the more precious, even indoors. Winner of Tulips in Vases challenge (I know – how many people have those photos or flowers hanging around, ready to pop into a challenge, eh?) Actually, I’m truly appreciative. And nice of someone to post it on the homepage, too. Pacific Northwest Art featured May 30, 2009 – Thank you! # Featured in Alaska ~ Beyond Your Dreams – Thank you!
