I have an orchid which hasn’t flowered for 11years so I thought I’d better have some photographic evidence of it. Taken with a 90mm macro with extension tubes attached. See also Delicate Petal More Macro Images
Really just a shot of an advertisment on Londons Tube, taken in 2002 with an Olympus Miu which is still one of my favourite cameras of all time though alas now its broken. The camera worked well for a compact in low light giving you an option of a slow setting in one or other of its mode forms. I have a digital version now but still think the analogue was the best. This photo provided me with food and flights when I was broke so I like it for that at the least. Sold again and again.
If only the tube was this quiet on my way to work! / / / / / / / Add dave7j to your watchlist »

A macro shot (80-200 and extension tube) of a crocus flower with a small metal candle holder (the face), shot early in the morning, when shadows from nearby shrubs looked interesting. I tried to get just the stamens in focus and the shadow on the left to look like a figure with a distended belly. I attempted to make the whole effect slightly menacing – a contrast between innocence and evil. Velvia, Nikon F4, scan.
Acrylic on a postcard-sized canvas. I did this a few years ago for a friend – he promises to get me a better quality scan so I can update my bubble.
A humorous slogan in a slick design, about that darn idiot box.

Staion or the Covent Garden station…we were up and down and in and out of so many tube stations that I can no longer remember – I did however remember to take the lift from then on… :) – so many stairs!! – 139 I believe…according to the Station Master announcements.
