Another feature! / Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. I shot this a few months ago trying out my new 100mm macro lens. / I just printed out a 16 X 20 of this image, matted it, and place it in one of the galleries where my work is sold. Let’s hope the buyers appreciate it as much as the RedBubble crowd! / Thanks again, Kim, for the feature.

Tried to make this a personal journal to keep a personal record of featured work, because it seems to disappear and then I have no record. But I couldn’t seem to make all the images and links work if not viewable to public. Hoping the blasted links and thingys work at all! If they do I’ll be chirpy! So, sadly public. Not blowing personal trumpet! Just hangin’ onto brief small moments of personal pride! I think the record of some features may be lost, as some groups don’t post a comment/banner, and some groups keep their Featured Work smaller and tighter. Oh well!! ‘Let it go’ has always been one of my big lessons….. / Now, I really really hope this works, or all my hard work will have come to naught. A couple of weeks back I was invited to put some work in an exhibition called Cluster near Regent’s Street in central London, so I put this in. Seemed rude not to. It was a three storey gallery of new talents, some old talent, and some dead talent, like Jean-Michel Basquiat. I missed my own private view because a good friend was playing a gig and I wanted to go and support him, but I am reliably informed that it was attended by Saatchi’s crew, Street Logo author Tristan Manco, art philanthropist Mark Cass, Anthony Gormley’s photographer niece, critics from the Times, Observer, Independent, and some other people with legs and arms and everything. I’m not entirely sure what that means, but I reckon at least one of them looked at my Holga print and thought it was a 2 minute PhotoChop job. Ha, I fooled them I did. You can’t go and see it because it’s finished now, but the curator has asked me to build an installation for a show he has going in 4 months. If I can be in the right country. I might remember to tell you about that one.
