  • one of the many sites you will see coming thru the great smoky mountains. trout fishing. couldnt have asked for better timing, having a fisherman set in the right gear, the water, and lighting. / i shot this in black and white, it has not been converted , and yes i do have color, that will be uploaded later, but i wanted something different ;), and this was shot with my new 17-85mm lens :) i love it already :):)

    This is from a trip we took to see my sister .. we were on the road and this called to us ..it had a very fast river coming out of it which crashed downstream for miles. The light was hitting the side of the mountains in spots. Its been a long time ago but the views in this state are amazing. Scanned from 35mm Slide.

    My husband, youngest son (now, almost 33) and I decided we needed to breath some fresh air for a change so we went for a drive today up to Nora Lake…this is a manmade lake (the size of a large pond) just outside of Shingletown in North Eastern CA…..(just a little above 3,000 foot elevation)....the sky was actually blue! That was a real treat and we could take deep breaths…..it was wonderful…...and to top it off we had fresh Trout for dinner!     Beautiful McCloud Resevoir in Northern CA…...this was taken from the road as we were leaving from a fishing trip (and photo shooting expedition)........in the Summer of 2006. This is a coldwater lake which gets it’s water from melted snow, creeks and streams downward from Mt. Shasta, CA. It is well known in the area for t’s beautiful Trout.
