The idea for this picture came from the Chesstown project I am doodling on every now and then. / It was first sketched with pencil and paper,and then scanned. / I played around with this design for days before I was satisfied. / And I didn’t really get there before I decided to use the sketch of an old ship I did long time ago. The sketch was applied without further refinement (read: inking ore /and color), so it’s just the old sketch really. / I used both Photoshop and Illustrator to get what I was after here on this one. / The motive has been for sale as posters and cards for a while, and now I introduce the tee. Go wild…....POS

A very old analouge negative taken on Boxing Day some twenty odd years ago. This girl was living with my younger sister in Darlinghurst in Sydney at the time and yes there were drugs involved. Neither of them survived the experience. All I have left is some very old photo’s and my memories. To death us do drug. Was that a challenge, a motto or a promise. I could never work it out.

One of the creepiest sunsets we’ve ever seen here … neighbors still talk about it. It started out an eerie yellow and changed the look of the world. By the time I shot this particular image, the clouds and sky had lost the sickly yellow and were a more familiar orange. Clouds and storm came in from the east which is unusual for this area … this shot was taken facing due south. I was using the Nikon D40x with the 18-135mm lens. I was coming home yesterday from an appointment downtown, / and happened to look over and see this place. It was completely / abandoned, along with garages, a barn and cars. Didn’t go in, (yet..heh) but I got a few good shots from the front. I added the flood..(to go with the title.) / / CS3/Corel/handheld/Samsung/HDR / I can’t even begin to list all of the things I did to this. / One filter conversion to the next applying and painting certain areas with the saturation brush, then repeating the process + / overlays & more fine tuning! I ride alone, lost in my thoughts, taking in the beautiful sights around me. Like a pillar of strength, you appear out of nowhere when I least expected it. Greener pastures on both sides of the fence. You’re shining light gives me hope that blue skies will prevail, and that the storm will just blow over. For I am travelling the long road home. Origianly a Pencil drawing on canson paper.The warped angel was a photoshop creation. Inspired by the movie “Angels and Devils”! Also inspired by my previous work “Bridge Over Troubled Water”!! / I thought that work needed a warped angel hovering above the troubled waters!! / The bottom line is it’s just such fun to play around with images!! / / featured in Core [C.O.R.E]

This gorgeous White Tail Deer is taking a chance that the only thing in my hand is a camera. Deer season opened last week and this is an easy and wanted shot for me or a hunter. It’s very rare to get this close, at this time of year, but this young buck was very curious.

I have been trying out various black and white methods and I thought I should give this one a go. / I took this picture without them knowing. / It looked like although the grandfather didn’t have much money, he still managed to buy is grandson an ice cream. Taken in Bristol on Colston Street.
