This is one of a series of long exposures i have taken in Dublin city centre,Ireland.Just off to the right of the photo is the main entrance to trinity college.The lights trails are from a passing bus and a few taxis.

The human sat alone, head hanging down. / Tears fell silently. / They felt so empty, even the pain was a welcome embrace, so when a hand touched upon their shoulder they did not have the strength to look up. “Go away!” / said the human, not even knowing what they wanted. / “I want to be left alone….I ….” / Yet all the while thinking / “Please don’t go away, I don’t want to be alone” / but when they glanced up, there was no one there, just a shift in the light and the hint of warmth on the air. The Angel spoke from nowhere, and everywhere. You thought your love would last forever… / But it did not. / You thought that fire in your heart would never fade, / But it slowly died. / You thought that the fire in the other’s eyes would never grow dim, yet it suddenly burned out…and was gone. / How cheated you feel – What a waste! You grieve, you hurt – oh! how you hurt for all you feel you have lost. / It seems the warmth, the light, the love has gone… / That nothing is left…. But remember this… True love knows three flames – / It is a sacred trinity. When two flames unite, they create a third flame that burns more brightly than both that created it. / This mysterious alchemy is of another dimension. / It cannot be seen with human eyes, it cannot be touched with human hands, but sometimes, if you are quiet and still and truly believe, it can be felt with the human heart. / Once lit, this flame burns forever. / It cannot be measured or contained in human terms. / Yet long after those two souls have burned themselves out, when time and reason and humanity have worn down the passion of their union, or regardless, their journey calls them onto different paths, / The fire of their creation remains, / A light that shines eternally / In a dark and longing world. Love may be over / In your eyes / But in the eyes of the universe, / What your love created / What your heart set free, / Will live on, / A celebration of what once was and will always be. True love creates three flames – / And one will burn forever. (This image was created to inject some warmth and hope back into the lives of two dear friends who are hurting right now….their own flames have died down, leaving them cold, shattered and grieving. To all who hurt this way, I know only too well how cold it can be….. may the energy of this image bring back a little of what you need to believe again…..love xoxox)

Taken on a backpacking trip through Trinity Alps Wilderness (California). Upper and Lower Canyon Lakes. Trinity Alps is the second largest wilderness in California, spanning three (3) national forest boundaries. It is situated in the Klamath Mountain Range.

Taken on the Trinity River in Northern California earlier this Summer. This river is well known as a good spot for Goldmining (both Gold Panning and Gold Dredging) as well as a favorite Salmon, Steelhead and Trout river….......I love the quietness, solitude and the breathtaking beauty in every direction. It was hard to leave this lovely secluded hide-away after spending three days there….but it is close enough to make a trip from time to time. ___ All The Materials Contained May Not Be Reproduced, Copied, Edited, Published, Transmitted Or Uploaded In Any Way Without My Permission. This is for my gravely ill cousin Cara who has taken a turn for the worse. I created the candles in form of the Trinity so I can hold my own little digital ‘candlelight vigil’ for her, and pray and meditate on the beautiful person she is, and try to inspire a miracle that might help her survive somehow…

Celtic Mandalas are mysterious and embedded with secrets and symbols, offering a unique way to connect with ancient spiritual and aesthetic realities. It was almost hypnotic, even revelatory as I played with this “Triskele” or Triskelion – consisting of three sacred spirals or ‘Trinity’ representative for me of the Sacred Feminine, or Maiden, Mother and Crone energies. Symbolic of the on-going cycle of birth, life and death for the Celts…a primordial power that inspired them to be treated as sacred motifs. The Celtic symbol for the Triple Goddess of Maiden, Mother and Crone. The eternal Maiden within, full of promise and hopes to come; the innocent child with the ability to see with clarity and purpose; and, the virgin self. Gaia, the Mother within, giving birth to seeds conceived by the maiden; nourishing growth to nurture ideas and projects. The love of the Mother is always within through pain, joy, tears and laughter deeply in your heart. The wise Crone within, full of the ageless wisdom of nature, barren, yet beautiful whilst holding the keys to the underworld and understanding the mysteries of death. I am change, sacrifice and transformation representing both death and birth in infinite wisdom. This pic was not staged she was sad because my friend’s son didn’t really care about her new princess dress & wouldn’t put his Gameboy down & play with her. (he’s 8) This is my youngest daughter Trinity. She wanted a new princess dress & this is the one she picked out. If she had it her way she’d wear it all day every day. I tried to explain to her that she’s already worn hers longer than any real bride wears hers but she doesn’t believe me.
