Autumn in Clarks Summit, PA / This beautiful lake is just about 2 miles down the road from us. It’s a favorite place to walk to during cool evenings ~ we love to watch the swans.
Australian bush. Impressionist effects done in camera – long exposure and movement. View as you would a painting.

Have you ever looked at something and thought ahhh a capture some day. Today was the day of the first attempt. It was a freaking blizzard out. High winds out in the country in my area the farmers call windswept. I headed into town for brunch at the pub. The roads were clear if you call two feet of snow in the good parts clear. High winds.. no courage to go to the tree. So after a good brunch and a few shots of whiskey neat style. I came back home.. I felt daring. Pushing snow with a big four wheel drive truck I went. There it was.. I fell in love. Out in the winds with the snow blowing hard I set the camera on a bean bag my wife made me for this purpose. Focus , Light , Frame, Oh God please.. Here is the first one. Maybe more. When a new sky appears.. storms or sunset we shall see.. I hope you find it in your heart to view large. I do so love you all on RB.. / Chuck This was taken a few miles east of Allegan, Michigan USA This Was Written By Ari..( Aritheeagle ) Thank You Can you tell? Can you tell / its me / Blizzard Tree / out there / so tall / so free / another season / shall walk away / another ring / round my bark / rain and sunshine / blizzard or snow / this marriage of time / shall flow / right here / where I belong / in this moment / therefore / I am / Blizzard Tree! ~Ari Buy This As A Gift For The Ones Who Left The Farm
This was taken along the Princess Hwy,traveling to Bairnsdale, Victoria. It’s so sad to see the effects of the drought first hand – the paddocks lined with dead trees and in the fog were a testimony to our harsh weather AS IS
Landscape inspired from Maryland’s Point Lookout area by the Chesapeake Bay area. / Acrylic and oil pastel. 32”X60” on canvas
Cleveland national forrest, Ramona Ca. 5 am- This is my favorite of all the pictures I’ve taken. Sadly, I took it with a little, fixed lens, digital camera. When I came back a few weeks later with my D200, the San Diego wild fires had already burned the tree down. This photo is all that remains. Forever immortalizing this fantastic tree.

...if you’ve ever read Shel Silverstein’s book “The Giving Tree” then you’ll understand how I felt…and still feel. / These lovely old 100’ pines were marked for months and finally cut down last week. Even though I knew it was coming, I still wasn’t ready to see them go…saddened to see them gone…cut down at last. / On this rainy gloomy day I first discovered this…I went to look at their remaining stumps and discovered they were still giving their gifts, as I took in their inner beauty ~ their colored rings and sunset centers…spin art of a kind (the other titled that way)...isn’t nature amazing?
We had snow on Sunday, so off I went in search of a decent tree shot. The ‘star’ bokeh is achieved using a star-shaped aperture disc in the lensbaby. All done in-camera. If you are interested, please see my full 360 degree panorama here Please be aware that it is 4.9MB, so I wouldn’t recommend to people with a slow connection! This panorama is made up of 90 individual images stitched together.
Well actually it was day. Dark & stormy though. Whilst processing I thought I’d try one of the filters in Optikverve Labs. I quite liked the end result. / Too much?? Let me know.
On our first night in Sweden we were welcomed with a beautiful layer of snow on everything.

Sunlight streams through the trees on the mountain and onto the rail in front of me. I am always amazed at how far a single beam of light can travel. PLEASE VIEW LARGE

This painting was inspired by a walk in the Aspen woods around park city, Utah. To me Aspens are the supermodels of the tree world – all slender trunk and tiny branches. Get them at the right time and the ground really looks this colour….. to further explore the theme
