This was a beautiful place to be – when the children were there is became magical – every door opened wasn’t a garden it was the secret garden and we had to look for lepricorns and fairies and smell every flower and describe every tree.
Hello ! Everybody I was surprised by the great responding of that picture ,that’s why i came back for more explanations. It’s true that i live in a place where nature is the queen .I’m surrounding by lakes ,trees and mountains,my friend Michel is always talking about moving but i want to die here.I’ve been creating a garden for four years now, getting pretty. No neighbors in front ,in the back only on both sides and i never see them .The only bug ,no sunsets and sunrises,i have to take the car ….big thing …. / We are surrounded by a big parc that belong to the «Université de Montreal» that means no construction for many, many yearsThe place I took that pic.is two minutes from my house. The many comments I had made me realise how lucky I am to live in a place like that .THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. Gisèle…alias …Micmac Thanks to Steve for choosing that pic for Pay it Forward Group / / Your image Early Morning has been nominated for the prestigous Pay it Forward Group by / Peaceofthenorth. / This is what he had to say about your image - / “I would like to nominate Gigi’s AKA “micmac ” photo “Early morning”….this is one of those pieces of photographic art that inspires one to perfection, as a Native Canadian artist her work speaks of the love of the land and her surroundings” /

Our little red eyed tree frog, Trickster. EDIT: Thank you all – this is not my favorite one but wanted to see how the idea would be received. So, I appreciate all your wonderful comments! This is our pet frog, Trickster. I bought cloud paper at the scrapbook store and purchased an umbrella ornament on eBay. I then hung it from our banana stand (LOL-I know, I know :-) Then I put the frog on it and snapped the shutter. Because the umbrella was hanging truly vertical he didn’t like it and it didn’t look right so in photoshop I rotated the canvas 35 degrees and cloned out the string that would hang the umbrella on the tree. That is about it. Unfortunately, I had to shoot at a higher ISO so I got some noise. Going to re-do this tomorrow with more light – it was pretty cold here and these guys like warm weather so I couldn’t play too much today.
I’ve updated and played with my original version of this one, which you can find here / There’s much more going on here with extra layers, drawings and I’ve drawn some text too. / Hope you like!
The sunshine of a late October morning in 2007 turning a forest lane near Lage Vuursche in the Netherlands into a miracle world of pure bliss. A boy and a bird, both singing their song to each other. I have tried this, whistling back to the birds I hear, but they never respond. =P Just a simple little thing I did, kind of a different style but I like it. Was fun to do. =D / Used sepia ink for the characters and border, then added a texture and the music notes in the background with Photoshop. Hope you like it! =3
