Illustration of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse with a kite, gulls and sand.
A priestess shape-shifts into an owl during ecstatic sacred dance. The very real / and age-old and world-wide practice of shape-shifting endures to this day, as / some of you know very well!
Great Tits are large in size at 14 cm, with a broad black line down its otherwise yellow front. The neck and head are black with white cheeks. Upper parts are olive. It has a white wingbar and outer tail feathers. It is a vocal bird, and has a large variety of calls, of which the most familiar is likened to a squeaky wheelbarrow wheel. This is a common and popular European garden bird, due to its acrobatic performances when feeding on nuts or seed. This one was in the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire, feeding on some nuts.
Another in my Soul Mates series, a little less ferocious and a little smaller, but soul mates can come in many forms. I hope you enjoy this one as much as the others.
A rework of an old one of mine. Some of the images used on the original were not my own, so I could not rightly put it up for sale. / The snail (watching the water land in front of him), the dragonfly, the butterflies (bar one) and the large fairies wings all graciously supplied by Edith Kangas, (ThroughMyEyes). / Thanks Edith, hope you like it. :) PLEASE VIEW LARGER FOR DETAIL :)
These Teals are such magnificent ducks! ;-)
Ophelia lies down on a giant tree trunk and watch the clouds above her. When she is up there flying, the view and experience with the clouds is entirely different. Down where she is now, the clouds look puffy and cute, their ever changing forms fascinate her and tickle her sense of imagination. More owls should just pop out of their nests in the day time and admire the clouds :D / You can view and buy my other “Cloud Gazing (2)” creations at my Zazzle Gallery:
Welcome to Ophelia’s humble abode, a little hole of an old friendly oak tree. She welcomes you to join her for a cuppa tea anytime :D I’ve been searching for a tree hole like this for a long long time, was so happy to chance a tree(not oak tree….we dont have it in Singapore) with it near my place when I was back in Singapore for a short holiday. /
A shy girl who fliters around the woodlands… I did this to try and re awaken my pencil art muse, and it worked really well. I was very pleased with the outcome.
I added the Angel, horse & butterflies / using layers & blending in PS…..I am still new to PS :~)
Thought I would put this on …as it is snowing in the UK….
A prey she stalks with baited breath / So sweet the smell of illusion / And tender footsteps wont delay / Her pounce, there’s no confusion But stand beside her brave and still / She’ll give you great protection / And aid you in your final thought / With careful intervention
My Husband & Grand-Daughter lighting candles… / He was telling her about it :))) Light a candle, see it glow, / watch it dance, when you feel low, / think of me, think of light, / I’ll always be here, day or night, / a candle flickers, out of sight, / but in your heart, I still burn bright, / think not of sadness, that I’m not near, / think of gladness, and joyous cheer, / I have not left, I am not gone, / I’m here to stay my little one, / so when you light a candle / and you see it glow / and you watch it dance / in your heart you’ll know / that I would never leave you / even when you feel so blue / I’m sitting up here with the Lord / and watching over you
Give me peace so I won’t cry anymore, / Peace so my soul can rest and / have something left to fight for. Give me peace so my heart can love, / Peace so I can can believe / that there is good above. Give me peace so I can rest tonight, / Peace so I can sleep, not searching / for his image within the night. Give me peace so I can go on, / Peace so I can be at peace / within the dreams that I long.
